Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute, but broken I bought this bike last week. I thought about having it shipped to me, but saw that there was an in store pick up option so I chose that. The original confirmation email said they would email me when it was available for pick up in store, within two hours of purchase. Five hours later, they sent an email saying my order was cancelled. So I repurchased it and had it shipped to me. The brakes were waaaay too loose and the wheel frames were bent. I ended up spending an extra $200 to tune this up. I really like the bike, but it was in bad shape when I got it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Purchased but did not take home after all! :/ We purchased this one and the men’s version and told them we would pick up after 6 days. They said it should be plenty of time to have them assembled and ready to be picked up..... not the case, we came back 6 days later and the bikes were not ready and they took over two hours to have them ready... after looking at them, this one had a few scratches that were beyond repairable. My wife was not too convinced after all because on top of the scratches, they were having issues with the gears. I gave it two stars assuming that if it was assembled correctly and everything working fine then it’s a good bike.. after all it is a “good looking” bike.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality After the tech spent an hour adjusting the bike when we bought it, brought it home and rode it with my 2 year old. Brakes stopped working while going down a hill. Tightened the brakes 3 times and they loosened every time. Brought it back in and had it readjusted by another tech and the store manager, brakes still came loose. Also, kick stand was bent and so was the post for the seat. Garbage quality bike. Thankfully the store manager returned it for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The frame is cute, the rest is not I bought this bike for my wife because she's always wanted one like it and it looked fantastic. I read the other reviews, and so I was prepared to do some major calibration on the bike when I got it. It's true, most of the mechanical components of the bike are bottom of the barrel quality. The wheels weren't close to being true, and the brakes were just added without being tightened down. I'm not a bike mechanic, but I happen to be an engineer, so I was able to watch tutorials, and get the bike into a decent ride-able spec without taking it to the shop. I am in the process of replacing a bunch of the mechanical components with awesome gear as I find them on sale. The current ones work for now. I purchased the bike on sale at Christmas knowing I was going to turn a $120 bike into a bike that rides like a $400 bike. So if you're looking for a super cute frame with workable parts I'd buy this when it's on sale. Otherwise..... meh. Go find something else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really really like my bike! I got this cute bike to replace my last cute bike that was stolen. I have had it almost a month, and I will update this review, if needed. 1st off- buying a bike from Dick's: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I'm not a $500 bike girl, so when i saw this bike so cute, and on sale! I was thrilled. I did not expect the multipoint inspection which comes standard with a bike purchase. The tech spent 30-45 minutes ensuring every bolt was secure, checked wheel alignment and brake tension,Etc before i purchased it. He explained the warranty and extended service warranty (that you aren't forced to buy on the spot!). Within 60 days, he recommended I return for a complementary check of the alignment and brakes. I have bought CARS that didn't offer that kind of treatment! Next, the bike itself: I wanted a cruiser style bike that was cute, but with speeds because hills hurt! And I'm TALL, so i need a 26"+ model. So this bike fit the bill! I have done several short rides in the area, and now several 3-5 miles bike trail trips. The brakes work great. The front break does not stop as hard as the rear. But that is in PURPOSE so i don't fly over the handlebar. After 1st use, my front tire went flat. I took it back to the store and my sweet tech took care of it. The original wheel liner is not as thick as the ones at Dick's and a spoke burst the inner tube. He fixed it. Checked alignment and brakes again, and sent me back out the door. 5 stars for service. 4 because the seat looks overpadded, but it's so HARD I have to replace it. And there is surface rust appearing on the handlebars. I'm sure my tech will tell me what to do about it.... I'll update then.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage I bought this bike a little over a month ago to try to get some exercise without hurting my knees. I have been getting used to it and I have ridden it infrequently. the brakes hardly work, but, as I don't go very fast it hasn't been a problem. yesterday while trying to downshift, the derailer pushed itself over into the spokes, which then bent the whold derailer assembly up into the fender bracket causing the whole thing to lock-up into an immovable mess. I must add at this point that the bike was purchased new and pre-assembled at Dick's where they would not admit that it had any warranty other than the one I could purchase. I did not purchase the warranty, because they were rather snotty about it and treated me as though I did not have the right to a manufacturer's warranty. Needless to say i will not buy another Kulana bicycle, whether I ever patronize Dick's again depends on whether their response to my problem is Dick's-like or more without the 's.
