Brilliant Bibs
Brilliant bibs. Was recommended these by some other riders and have not been disappointed. Longer cut legs are perfect for the taller rider but it's the pad that shines, comfortably the best pad I've ridden on for longer endurance rides. True to size and very comfortable.

Very Nice Bibs
Materials and fit are very good, almost feels like second skin and you hardly notice you have them on. One thing to improve is the flexibility of the straps/front section as there is almost no give if/when you need to "take care of business" on the go.

Pad Poorly Placed And Too Thin
I'm really disappointed with these bib shorts. Unfortunately I received a LeCol bib shorts buying guide a day after I received these, although I had spoken with LeCol via online chat beforehand to ensure I was buying the right shorts. I have a pair of Pro Bib shorts I bought approx. three years ago; they have been outstanding on all of my long endurance rides (7-10 hours in the saddle each day), though have now worn a little thin from all the riding. I had expected this new pair to be similarly brilliant, but the design has completely changed. As LeCol states, they are designed to be more comfortable when you are in the riding position, leaning over your bike. The straps will feel exceptionally tight when standing, but comfortable when on the bike - and the more aero your riding position, the more comfortable the straps will be. The pad, however, is thin and stitched in to the shorts way too far forward, so most of the pad is useless - going up almost to my navel at the front, when I'm in riding position; meanwhile my "sit bones" have almost zero protection as the pad doesn't go back that far. Combined with the thinness of the pad, this means that I'm effectively supporting most of my weight through the inguinal region, rather than the sit bones, so I have suffered extreme soreness both during and after the rides. Finally, rather than fitting neatly around the body, these shorts have a lot of loose fabric, so there are wrinkles particularly in the inner thigh area, going around most of the way to the quads, and they are also very loose around the abdomen. When in riding position, this looseness in the front is exacerbated. I am a "standard" medium build and I've never had this sort of issue with any bib shorts before.
