Great For Audax Rides

I bought these for longer Audax rides. The side pockets to stash a mobile phone and gels is a great touch. Fit and comfort are what I would expect from Le Col

Wouldn’t Buy Bibshorts Again Without Cargo Pockets

Great idea for the side pockets - much easier for putting small items you know you’ll need “on the go” like gels or energy bars (especially when getting into your jersey pockets is a pain to do with jackets or gilets covering them). The mesh material of the pocket does get frayed if it gets caught on the corner of packets/keys etc so you do need to be selective as to what you put in them. The gravel bibshorts pocket material looks to be superior but i have not tested these. I’d also always recommend getting white straps over black ones as you’ll always see black straps through light jerseys but not the other way around.

Sizing inconsistent with other Le Col products, and quality of product felt ‘cheaper’ than normal. Disappointing as promised to be a great short for indoor training and shorter rides.

Too Small

I'm 5'10" and 78kg and ordered a size medium. I already have Le Col jerseys in a medium and find them a comfortable fit, and all other cycling clothing I own is medium also. When the bib shorts arrived the legs were uncomfortably tight. The shoulder straps would barely fit over my shoulders and dug in once on. I returned the shorts and exchanged them for a size large, which does fit comfortably. Manufacturing quality is as high as you'd expect from Le Col, but the sizing comes up very small. I don't see how the model in the photos can be four inches taller than me and still be wearing a medium given the length of the shoulder straps. Would recommend, but in a size bigger than you usually wear.

I have yet to wear riding , the quality looks good, the only comment is I ordered large, I am 73 kilos, 183 cm tall and they are a nice snug fit also the shoulder straps are quite tight . Look forward to warmer weather to ride out!
