Simple Design, Yet Effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work ER and needed to replace my old leatherman raptors. I like that this one got rid of the seatbelt cutter which on my old one just got stuff and didn’t open smoothly, plus they’re shears.. just cut the seatbelt. The polished metal isn’t my favorite but I think it makes the shears glide much smoother so it’s a change I can get used to. Also these cut through clothes like butter, I just bunch everything up and cut it without any problem or strain to my hand. Definitely recommend this over the other raptors or even if you’re thinking of upgrading! My rating for 4 stars has to do with its bulkiness, despite ridding the seatbelt cutter, it’s really not much “skinnier” than the last raptors.
