My son is a DT and a Guard. He's taken a couple helmet shots directly to the chest and said these pads tokm the hit much better than his prior pads. Seeing some folks have had shoulder pad problems I'll check his but to date theyre wonderful.

Good Protection At A Fair Price

I bought these pads as my sone grew out of his old pads. Really like the gel feel and breath ability to them. He’s in 6th grade, and no complaints from him, so we are good to go.

My 11 year old said these are more comfortable and provide more protection then his xenith pads, however the shoulder pad broke off the first month

Absorption And Lightweight

Bought these for my son. They are light and did a good job protecting him. I'm sorry for those who's fell apart, but that was not my case. The last two months my son has fell in love with these pads. He's willing to initiate contact at any given moment. His previous pads did not give him this level of comfort and absorption. He's taken the necessary hits and just bounced back. Should things change, I'll have to update. This is not a paid review

Less Bulky While Still Offering Great Protection

These pads are less bulky than the ones the school hands out but still provide great protection. My son also likes the grippy inside as they stay put and aren't constantly rattling around.

Cheap Material

Attention Attention Attention please read I would love to leave a great review for these pads but unfortunately, my son has used them for two weeks and the shoulder pad has already been ripped off. They fit perfectly and with him playing the quarterback position they were perfect for the throwing motion of a quarterback, unfortunately, protecting the quarterback is not what their best at obviously and people please read the reviews. Don’t just look at the five star ratings after I went to leave my review. I noticed very quickly that all of the five star reviews also say that those people received a incentive for their review now go look at the other reviews that do not have five stars, such as mine there is no incentive received. It seems like people were paid to leave. Good reviews which really sucks seeing how this is a product to protect children all of the good ratings came from people who received an incentive definitely not a good product.
