Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have been using Leupold bases since 1977 The Leupold STD and Torx bases are outstanding. I recently got a new Browning X-Bolt rifle and picked up these Leupold bases. A+

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst possible design concept ever. I bought a set of STD bases and rings. If someone asked me to design a system with as many opportunities for error as possible, this would be it. The front ring is only as straight as you can eyeball it to be as you rotate it in the base. And the rear ring can move all over the place with no real zero point. You just hope you tighten the left and right "windage" screws equally to find the middle. Of course, you can adjust them later, but that means you are torqueing the scope tube sideways when you do it. Absolutely ridiculous design. I can't believe you actually sell these.
