Smooth Yet Clunky
Right out of the package I felt the buttery smooth action I was expecting and then it started making a clunk like some bearings slipping out of place. At certain angles it goes away so I figured I can live with it. Seems like a quality reel other than that.

Underrated Super Stars
200 and 300 have deep spools, low weight, and 8 bearings. The bail is metal, the bail arm is aluminum and the bail roller runs super smooth with braid. I run 10lb power pro on both, and they are paired on medium light and medium heavy poles. I have a 100 on a BPS 6ft6in ultra light that runs 5lb braid that is amazing. The 100 had a shallow spool, is less than 7oz and is perfect for UL setups. Having had these for months and using weekly, they were a great find to replace my aged Pflueger Trions I loved for many many years. Amazing reels do not need to cost much, and these fit the bill. I have used the 200 more than any, and it has brought in LMB over 5lb, coolers of bluegills and cichlids, and are ready for the crappie season starting soon. The 300s have been used for surf fishing and getting pompanos and whiting paired on 7.6 medium heavy rods. Even with 10lb never feel unable to work a fish to shore since the drags on these are smooth out of the box. I will be upgrading to carbon drags when I get another sheet soon though and am posative that these reels will be next level with the feel of getting wet gone. They open easy for maintenance and they realy have been a joy to use. Line, rod, and reel all costed under $100 a setup so plenty left over to get hooks and jigs.

Nice Reel
Smoth, I made the mistake of not putting enough line on it and almost lost my line and lure. It will spin off fast make sure you put closer to 200 feet on. I have the 2000 size reel. I very happy with it.
