So Far, So Good!

Long term bear can user ready to make the switch. Needed something for both bear and critter proof and this looks like it meets my needs. The quality looks good and knot info found on ursack site was helpful. I will send a follow-up review once I can actually test it out on this year's backpacking trips.

Great Outdoor Bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Holds a decent amount of food in the bag. Very durable. The rope that ties the bag shut is plenty long enough to secure the bag to the base of a tree in case there isn't a suitable place to hang it out of reach. Easy to pack.

Great Alternative To A Bear Canister!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t have an overnight camping trip scheduled to try the URSACK in the field, so I lent this to some friends who were camping in the PNW. They were impressed by how much lighter and easy to transport the URSACK was compared to their normal bear canister (and flexibility in stuffing it full and folding it when it emptied!), and reported that their foods and toiletries stayed safe and dry on their trip. They are now looking to get their own URSACK, and I’m excited to try it for myself on a camping trip later this summer.

Nice Sac

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty cool but honestly won’t use that much to give it an amazing review. But it seems pretty durable. Would be nice if you lived in California or some where we bears are around. So I can’t say how well it works on keeping animals out!

Very Durable!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag is extremely durable and heavy duty, definitely can't it it with a knife so I 100% believe it keeps critters out very well. It is slightly bigger than the size of a regular drawstring bag. Very lightweight bag that can fit 5 days worth of food for 1 person, depending on the size of the items you put inside you can maybe fit more. I was very excited to bring it with me while out on hiking/camping trips and it has worked very well.

In Love With This Bag, Can’t Wait To Use More!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I failed to take a picture while the bag was actually in use, but overall, I like the bare bag much better than the bear canister. Previously I’ve used bear canisters and it seemed very heavy for backpacking. This is great one to two night backpacking trip and I look forward to using it more this summer!

Sturdy And Practical

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really surprised about the durability of this product and how strong it is. It is super lightweight and yet it feels like there's no way that I could cut through it. A part of me wanted to test it by stabbing it with a knife if I have to be honest. I'm definitely going to bring this to my next hiking or camping trip and I'm glad that it is very flexible so that it can fit in my backpack. The only negative thing comes to the sowing of it which is why it doesn't get full Stars.

Very Versatile And Durable Camping Go-to Bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is EXTREMELY durable. Very heavy duty. The size of a typical drawstring backpack which makes it easy to hang from somewhere and carry anywhere. I cannot wait to use this camping as it seems like it will be keeping ANYTHING safe.

Durability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product is made extremely durable to withstand some major punishment. It is a little on the heavier side if trying to cut weight but is better to other alternatives on the market. Would recommend adding an odor proof liner inside to add suppression of food smell completely

One Of The Toughest Bear Bags On The Market!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you need a bear-bag for the back country - this one has what you need! Cavernous tunnel design that fits easily in 50L+ packs - cinch cord on top, and enough kevlar to keep a dinosaur from getting into your chow! Disclaimer - I only had a 5lb critter to do product testing, but, after fervent effort, she could absolutely not scratch or bite her way to the peanut butter snacks inside - and the bag still looks brand new! Seriously - this bag would be tough to bust. When I am expedition kayaking in the far north, PNW, AK, or climbing through the rockies - this is gonna be my go-to vault for food!

Durable Lightweight Option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great size and easy to pack given the mobility of the fabric. Very light in comparison to others options and it seems pretty durable. Just wish it had an additional closing mechanism than just the ties that could help seal it shut better. Haven’t tested it against a bear yet, but the lightweight durability gets a thumbs up.

Amazing Quality And Durability !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag is amazing! I plan to use it for camping, but I tried it out to check durability and odor resistance by putting some treats and a toy in it for my dog (she’s a super chewer and destroys things in 5 seconds) and when I tell you she tried for 2 HOURS to get the stuff out or to break the bag, I am not lying. She eventually gave up and just sat by it until I opened it for her. Amazing durability. Also, the storage capacity of this bag is AMAZING. It has so much room, I feel I could fit up to 10 days worth of food, depending on what I’m packing. It’s super light weight and portable, but very large for packing many things! Definitely recommend if you are going hiking or camping!

Heavy Duty Bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this bag because I was heading to the Uinta Mountains, and I knew there wouldn't be trees for a proper bear bag hang. I used this in conjunction with an Opsak odor proof bag. Their 12.25 "x 20" bag fit perfectly inside the Ursack Allmitey. I wish I could tell you it kept the bears out, but I saw no indication that bears even tried. I did have a squirrel raid my backpack when I had my back turned for about 3 minutes. He was fast. The Ursack Allmitey hung at my base camp all night and most of the next day. I saw no evidence of squirrels bothering it. It does cinch up really well, so I doubt mice or other small rodents could get in there. I cannot tell you if it keeps bears out. My hope was careful food handling and the odor proof bag inside would not make it necessary to test the bag's abilities. I do have one suggestion for the manufacturer. The holes used for threading and cinching the bag are just cut. There's no grommet. There's nothing to keep is from fraying. Time will tell if that's a problem.

Ursack Vs. Bear Bagging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I got older, it was getting harder and harder to throw that rock bag over a tree limb, IF I could even find a suitable tree. The Ursack Allmitey solved that problem for me. Make no mistake, the Ursack is a little heavier than my dyneema food bag, however, the convenience of the Ursack makes the slight weight penalty, definitely worth it. The Allmitey also keeps the "critters" out. While these little critters may chew on you pack, socks, etc, rest assured that they're not getting inside your Ursack when hung properly.

Good, Could Be Better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well I haven't given it to a bear yet so I can't say firsthand how well it works, but I trust it would keep them out. It could be better, because if it was a complete system there would be a scent liner incorporated into the product. All in all it's good enough for my east coast adventures!
