Got 4 of the LifeStraw Peak series straws for emergency use. Like the overall sturdy feel and the smooth fit of the top & bottom caps. Used one briefly with clean water; liked the initial good flow with minimal resistance. I hope they stay that way for a while. Also, very much appreciated the instructions for long term storage. I mixed up some salt water as directed and prepped the units for storage. Nice to have on hand for that multiday outing that happens not often enough or for that emergency situation that I hope doesn't happen.

Prepared
While I haven't had the opportunity to use the Lifestraw yet I am happy that I am prepared it needed. I do have the canister the I can put in my refrigerator. I can't remember what it's called but I like knowing even small microbes are filtered out. I appreciate the sales the Lifestraw offers,

Great Item, Poor Instructions
The items are really great but the lack of instructions is irritating and frustrating. I am particularly referring to the dispenser I also bought. For example, it says to remove the filter but doesn't tell how. The company spends too much time telling how wonderful the item is (which I believe it is) and too little time giving practical information. Regarding the straw, I finally assumed that the filter did not need to be rinsed before using it, It would be good to told that and given instructions as to how to get to the filter.
