Easy Assembly

When I opened the box I was worried that it was going to be too difficult to put together. After reading all the instructions I found that it was pretty easy to understand. The hoop was being used within 2 hours of starting the assembly process.

Good Hoop; Horrible Assembly!

I bought this basketball hoop because it seemed like a great value and I still think it is a greet value. Put together, it’s pretty strong, seems durable, and my kiddo loves it. So don’t not buy it. But if you DO purchase this basketball, be aware that it’s a serious pain to put together. It absolutely require another person, preferably an adult. Solo parenting, this was a horrible thing to realize several pages into the instructions. But we all get by with a little help from our friends and I’d be willing to forgive this product for not stating that you needed another adult at the beginning with the lost for tools needed for assembly. The problem was, however, that we were shorted several bolts/nuts and I had to go to a hardware store to get more. Then, after doing all the hard work of assembly, we get to one of the very last steps and the bolt we needed to secure the pole to the base doesn’t fit. It’s about a 1/2” too short and the nut won’t go through the hole in the support brace. I drove a stake through it and went to the hardware store AGAIN to grab an appropriately-sized bolt. It was just so, so hard to put together. Do not underestimate how much time you’ll need to spend in assembly! Is it a good product? Yes. But it’s a pain in the patookus to assemble.
