Good Replacement

Thanks. This worked fine to replace a broken 30 year old rim.

Light Weight To Install

Easy concept to install. Definitely need two people though. We're installed inside the garage and use a light weight "silent" ball so not sure how it would hold up to a real ball (read other reviews).

No Support Brackets Included

The wind blew ours over and support brackets(very light weight) got bent. Bent them back and reassembled it. Next time it blew over, support brackets bent again and bolts ripped through the backboard. Figured this would be a great replacement. No mounting brackets, no problem, I just needed a backboard and the backboard support brackets. Rim in this kit was a bonus. Display at the store had the support brackets installed, so included right? NO. Will be returning tomorrow. For what the blackboard cost, those brackets should be no problem to include for the price. I would understand that there's no brackets to mount it to a roof or the wall of the garage, I expected that. Will either engineer my own repair or buy a different brand of backboard or complete hoop, but returning this tomorrow and won't be buying anymore lifetime products.

God Product. Needs Better Instructions.

Good product. Strong & solid. The only thing that I did not like was the instructions. Lifetime should do a better job with the instructions regarding the bracket that needs to be used with this backboard hoop combo. Had do do quite a lot of figuring things out for myself for it to work.

I Feel Very Mislead.

During covid19 outbreak my family and I sought to pass some outdoor time with this basketball hoop. My wife bought what she thought was everything we would need, when only a rim showed up. We tried to find just the backboard but couldn't so we ended up buying the combo. After it arrived, we noticed it didn't come with a mounting bracket and were forced to yet again spend more money. After everything we both feel scammed and taken advantage of. Please, before buying this product, know what you're getting into.

Fingers Crossed

I have an existing Lifetime setup; pole, base, etc .. the plastic backboard cracked and I just ordered this as a replacement (my kind likes the orange look above that of the standard clear/blue original. The hardware from the specs looks to be similar (not identical) so I am taking a chance and buying this hoping it fits. Are all Lifetime pieces interchangeable? Here is a pic of current.

Ok For The Price, But Requires Regular Maintenance

Be prepared to have to also purchase additional mounting hardware. The rim and backboard hold up well, but the mounting hardware bolts don't come with washers, AND they are a bit on the short side. As a result, we have problems with the hardware working itself loose with repeated usage (the backboard vibrates a lot when struck by a basketball) I'm having to get up there and regularly put the bolts back in or re-tighten them.

Twice The Cost!

Great price...until you get it and open it up and realize it's not useable until you spend the amount you spent on the backboard to get the installation kit to install it! I can't believe someone would sell this without including the brackets needed to install it. I'll be returning it first thing in the morning.
