Sturdy Hoop

I bought this goal last Friday for our grandchildren coming over the holidays and spent most of Saturday putting it together and filling with sand. The overall assembly took longer than I expected and much of that was due to the sand filling hole being so small. Would highly recommend this sand filling hole be at least 3 inches in diameter and more accessible when the base is tilted up and the post with goal facing down. I am also somewhat concerned about the longevity of the post and hardware (bolts, nuts, etc) due to our proximity to the seacoast. steel parts in this area tend to only last three or four years if not treated or substituted with nonferrous materials (e.g. 314 stainless). Do you have a hardware kit that would last longer in a seacoast application?

Cheap Bolts

Had to go spend more money for 2 bolts that sheared off. Replaced the cheap ones provided with better quality.

Just put together. Hope it works out for us.

Major Design Flaw

This goal seems to have a serious design flaw reported by numerous customers in which a bolt snapped while assembling at step 3.3. In the comments section of the instruction video on YouTube you can find numerous people complaining about it. I suspect it is because they use the wrong type of nut at that step. It is a major pain that can require hours of troubleshooting and multiple trips to your local hardware store. I recommend getting something else to save yourself the trouble
