Hoop It Up

Directions were clear and I used both booklet and YT video. Impressive curb appeal when all said and done. No complaints so far. You can assemble it mostly by yourself until you need to attach the backboard and lift it up into place. Comes in 1 box. Just level out your concrete plate and the rest will level out when installing - no need to monkey with the nuts. Only concern or curiosity I have is bolt AEO on the base plate has no instructions for final assembly. Not sure the purpose of it. Post does have wobble after shots but this does not affect the game. It’s awesome and a lot of fun.

Great Hoop

I vouch this two weeks ago and the hoop up Saturday so concrete cured for a week. This hoop has strong base and was pretty easy to install, although If I had to do it again I would pay for install. The tempered glass, rim, and how sturdy was major upgrade from our last hoop. DSP staff recommended this one over what I was looking at because it is more sturdy and it is.

Great Purchase

Family is happy - happy that Dicks had the install company as well.

Best Instructions

After 2 months of waiting on the weather to cooperate, I was finally able to install the basketball hoop. The instructions online was some of the best I have ever used. Very clear and easy to follow. Along with the writing instructions, this was one of the easiest installs I have come across. The bonus for me was how great it looked in the driveway.

Seamless And Easy

Seamless buying process, couldn’t have been easier. Install is something else, but that’s because I ran into Tennessee rocks and sprinkler lines that I had to move.

Great So Far

we put up this week. The digging for the base is tough. The goal is nice when up. The kids love it.

Good Goal, Great Instructions

Bought this goal after ordering a Spaulding 60” for similar money from Academy that never showed up after 2 weeks. Goal was ready in an hour after ordering online with Dicks. Picked up that day, went home and started installing. Instructions said 13 bags of concrete was needed, I ended up using 15 but my base wasn’t very typical since it was against new concrete that was higher than ground level. Hardware was packaged for each step which was very helpful to ensure the right pieces were used at the right time. Only thing I struggled with was 6.1, the picture shows 2 washers against the head of the bolt but one should be between backboard frame and supporting arm, which the video showed. Overall, very happy with it and have already been schooling the kids on ball. Lol

Quality Hoop

Great printed and video instructions. The hoop seems to be great quality. I’m glad I was able to afford a tempered glass backboard with the awesome sale price. Easy height adjustment. Some movement of the whole unit from shots hitting the backboard. However, outside of a massively heavy, multi thousand dollar unit that is probably always going to happen. Regardless, the tempered glass allows consistent rebound. Used just about 13- 80 lb. bags of concrete as instructions called for. Smart to get an extra bag or two in case your hole is slightly different in size.

Nice Outdoor Goal.

I had this installed a week ago, scheduled installation through Dicks. I had to monitor the actual scheduling, but once the tech got the ticket, he was on it. Clear communication and efficiency. The goal is level, positioned perfectly. I’ve played many arenas. This is a solid outdoor goal that feels close to the way a goal in an arena acts with a basketball. Still very new, but very pleased with the look, feel and stability of this goal for the price.

Glass Fractured, Thousands Of Pieces,

Once assembled and put up looked great. Was used twice, a month after use whole glass backboard is fractured! Not quality! Took pictures but unable to upload here. Even if “free” replacement, I’ll be stuck disassembling with shards of glass, disposal and hiring someone to help put new one in. Lifetime should be responsible for that too.

Love Love Love!

Bought this basketball hoop a month ago, and we LOVE it! It was a pain to tighten the bolts connecting the rim to the backboard, but it’s sturdy now and holds up to the occasionally dunk! Definitely need 3-4 people to install the hoop onto the cement, but overall we love it and so do our kids.

Basketball Goal

Just got it installed, looks good. Will see how it holds up.

Good Solid Basketball Hoop, Assembly Takes A While, If You Can Pay For Installation

Good solid basketball hoop, assembly takes a while, if you can pay for installation - it will be worth it.
