Perfect For Recreation

I'm 6'3 235 lbs and I love this kayak

Stable

I've had this kayak for a few years now and we absolutely love it!! I weigh almost 300 lbs and it is very stable. My daughter has a pink youth kayak and we lay down the seats in our Honda CRV (2008) put mine in nose first, seatbelt through the hand grip, then put hers in upside down and backwards, attaching her hand grip at the nose of her kayak to the back hand grip of my kayak. They both fit perfectly with all our camping stuff underneath. The seat back is so comfortable and worth it!! I got a lifevest that's shorter in the back specifically for kayaking and we can be on the lake all day. I hope this review helps someone else know you can still enjoy kayaking and the outdoors even if you don't have a camper or truck to haul it all in. We fit just perfectly! Best investment ever!!

Missing T Handle And Snapped Seat Adjuster

We got 2 Daylite 80 Kayaks as a house warming gift for our new lake house. They were given to us in November so we weren't able to use them until this past Memorial Day weekend. When we got them out of the plastic we noticed that one of the kayaks was missing the front T handle. Then we took them on the lake and the plastic piece that is used to adjust the seat snapped in the first 10 minutes. We rigged it up so it would still work, but it's disappointing. I looked at the warranty and it doesn't look like this would be covered. Couldn't find a replacement parts link on here.
