I’ll Be A Lifetime Lifetime Kayaker

I’ve had my kayak for just over 2 years and taken her all over this country. She weighs 44 lbs, I’m a 5”2’ female and can lift this kayak over my head to load onto the roof of my Honda CR-V. My mini Goldendoodle fits right between my legs, leaving room for a backpack and mini cooler for lunch and a cool beer to partake at the halfway point of our adventure. 10/10 recommend, wish I purchased sooner!

Love Our Payette Kayaks

I bought 2 kayaks in June 2020 for my daughter s 17th birthday and Father’s Day gift to myself. We kayaked approximately 40 time and use pool noodle and straps to transport the kayaks to the niagara river, Lake Erie, Lake Ontario and surrounding creeks and lakes. My only complaint is that it is not a great tracking boat but it is solid and comfortable. I love the time on the boats with my daughter.

Smooth Fast Kayak

This is relatively fast for it stability, but it's drawback is it takes more concentration to keep it straight than most of the "easy" kayaks.

Nice looking kayak that spins down the river. I got very dizzy. Honestly has taken me a lifetime to figure how to use this thing.

Great kayak for the price. It does have tracking problems when you pick up some speed. If you’re using it just to have fun it’s a great first kayak.

Great If You Like To Be Frustrated And Turn Hard Left And Hard Right

I bought this from Dicks and I finally got to use it a few months after I bought it. I have had it in my garage hanging on my wall. I took it out on a lake and i thought something was causing my kayak to turn hard left and hard right. There is a huge manufacture defect that still has not been resolved from this company. How did this get to the point where QA said this was good to sell? Does this company not test their kayaks? One unhappy customer.in the picture I tried to paddle straight to the tree but the kayak turned a hard left and hard right as soon as I went to take a stroke on the other side? *****very poor craftmanship

Dodged A Bullet.

This is not a review as I have not bought this Kayak, however was about to on impulse. I decided to take a look at some reviews from people who actually did buy it, and boy am I glad I did. It seems generally to be a decent yak for the price, with one glaring drawback that everyone seems to mention, and that's TRACKING! I'm a river yakker who likes to paddle both up and down river, so that's a deal breaker for me, and the reviews stopped me from buying one of these. It appears the standard response to these reviews is – “I have passed your review on to our engineering team here at lifetime and they are working on a way to improve the tracking on the Payette kayak”. Well when they’ve finished working on it, get back to me. Meanwhile I’ll be purchasing something else.

Great Beginner Yak

This one takes a bit more to steer straight, in a lake. Not good around motorized boats. Good class one two, nothing more.
