I bought it for Christmas… and what a disappointment…doesn’t line up, missing part, and the U bolt was way to short for the Springs…Would not recommend. And yes it was a replacement for a Lifetime in ground goal..

Purchased to replace my son’s rim. It doesn’t align with the backboard holes and the rim is smaller than the original rim that came with the purchase.

Bought this to replace basketball hoop that was bent. Some of the screws were longer on the new one and it made it difficult to tighten them

It didn't fit

Appeared to be a solid NBA style break away rim. The price was good when compared to others also. I had to return because it did not fit our backboard set up.

My kids have loved this hoop. However for the second time I now need to replace the rim because almost all of the net hooks have fallen off. Hopefully Lifetime will be able to fix this problem.

I bought this hoop for my kids and they are really liking it and enjoying it. The only drawback is the net hooks around the hoop are falling, so far two of them said goodbye and the net is hanging in the air. Lifetime should address this issue.
Customer service helped maked sure i ordered the correct item. Very responsive.

Product quality is excellent. I ordered the Slam It Pro Rim as a replacement for the rim that was on my system, Model #79960. Installation instructions made it simple to install, all necessary hardware was included as well. The only issue I had was with the u-bolt that was supplied with the kit. The provided u-bolt was longer than the one that was original on my rim. The longer u-bolt would not allow sufficient tightening of the breakaway feature of the rim, rim was still too loose. I decided to use the original u-bolt which worked perfect.

We purchased the Slam-It Pro to replace our broken rim and so far we love it. Parts: came with everything we needed. I do recommend reviewing the installation prior to taking down the old one. We were required to use a spacer from the old one so I could see that being something someone would toss. Installation: was a bit tough because you do not have a lot of space to work with. We installed it with the backboard upright so that could have been part of the reason we took a while to get the bolts secured. Use: once installed we have used it and it is sturdy. cant complain about it. All that is left to see is how well it takes on daily use.

Bought this to replace an older rim that was falling apart. This is a nice rim. Lifetime did send me all the parts to put it up as well, although I'm not sure that it comes with the rim I just happened to contact them and show them pictures of my old rim and what was happening to it. Note the u shaped bar that comes in from the back of the rim and through the springs wasn't long enough for me to attach bolts to the screws. I had to use the old parts for that area. So don't throw any of your old parts away until you know for sure if you need them or not. It was kind of a bear to put up while keeping the backboard attached. I was able to do it though with my two adult sons. Overall I'm glad I got this hoop and It looks and plays great.

Bought this rim a few weeks ago to replace the existing Lifetime Slam-It basketball rim. I did not have any issues with the hardware that came with it, but tightening the bolts/nuts on bottom of the rim were difficult with the Lifetime backboard we have. Was not a lot of room available to get sockets and wrenches in.
