Love them so much, I've bought four!
Over the last couple of years, I've bought four of these hoops. I have a 7-year-old, a 3-year-old, and a 1-year-old, so I'm going to be getting years of use out of these. I have one hoop at each of the grandparents' homes, one in our basement, and one in our garage that I roll out into the driveway. I also pack up one of our youth hoop systems to take on vacation every year and set it up next to the pool for pool basketball. It's the perfect size for packing up, although I modified the pole to get it the right height. We have some killer pool games! I've recommended these to three of my friends who have all bought them too. These are fantastic!

Good for young kids.
Great for backyards for kids to play. Only drawback is base is not strong enough, may topple. Had to place against back wall and sandbag to stabalize. The parts are kept hidden in stand pipes so make sure you count all parts before assembling.

Great deal; straightforward assembly
Sort of a mixed bag on the prior reviews I read so was not quite sure what to expect especially with a one star from a female reviewer.I concur with others that the assembly was pretty straightforward. I took the advice from one reviewer not to take the top pole out of the middle one (which was also in the instructions, btw) so no issues there. I did need my kid to hold the pole up for me to fix the hoop but that was relatively straightforward too once the holes were aligned. Overall, glad I purchased it and my boys are ecstatic! Not filling mine with water or sand; just got some play sand to put right on top of the base and that should do it with regards to my ability to move it around more easily and of course provide needed stability once being used in play.

Perfect for our 4and 7 year old !
Assembly was not a problem just have a good open end or vise grips with something you need some vice grips to grab one of the screw things that goes through the pipe and I paid attention to the previous reviews not to put the wrong pipe in the wrong position but it seem like they had already configured for you We had to bang it on a piece of wood so I could see if you put the pipes in the wrong order you'd have a hard time getting it out .

Great for beginners!!
Bought this for my 4 year old, great for beginners. Only issue I had was putting it together. WHAT EVER YOU DO, do not take out the middle bar, the one that gets attached to the rim should stay inside the middle bar!!

perfect for small patio
Ordered online and when package arrived, looked like UPS ran the box over with the truck. Returned it to a local Dick's and got another with all pieces in tact. Was easy to put together, however I chose to fill the base with sand instead of water and that was time consuming. Wish they made the fill hole a little bigger so sand could have went in easier.Nice upgrade from my 6 year old's plastic Fisher Price hoop. My son loves the hoop and should get a several years of use, Overall I am satisfied with this product.

Nice Youth Basketball Hoop
This basketball hoop was definitely worth what I paid for it and adjusts to a surprisingly tall height. If your kids are under age 8 or so, absolutely go for it. Any older than that and you'll probably wish you went witha hoop that has a full size backboard but no complaints about this product in and of itself.

Great choice for transitioning from a 4 ft plastic Hoop!
Quality is good - rim is full sized - or close to it. Very stable - but we are using light weight balls. Assembly instructions are a little frustrating - but have seen worse. Probably took 30 minutes - instructions say 1 hour. Bottom line - kids (for us, 3 & 5 yr old) LOVE it - Adults probably like it even more. I can see this lasting as long as the full sized portable hoops. Very happy with the purchase.
