Along Dress Best For A Short Waisted Person

This dress has a short waist. I am 5’5”, 107 lbs. I bought the xxs, you would think a fitted dress would be “fitted”. It is a little big around that high waist. The pockets which have no zippers, do not totally lie flat. Provably because I have a long torso. The pleats flare out before my hips. What a shame, as it is very pretty.
