Not As Big As Expected

The skillet is only slightly larger than the 12 inch. The mark on the bottom says 14sk which makes me think lodge is using molds for a 14 in skillet

A great large skillet for camping with a larger group

Really Huge And Cumbersome

While I wanted to love this 15" skillet, I found it extremely uncomfortable especially to use inside the oven (I was planning to make "butterfly" open chicken.) Very very heavy piece of cookware that is not appealing to use on a weekly basis. Storage is a problem also. Planning to return it. (in the photo is pictured next to 10.25" Lodge cast iron lid).

This Is Huge!

I love this 15” cast iron skillet! I can cook for the masses with this! I’ve used it a lot already. It is heavy and must carry with two hands, having two handles is super helpful.

Good Quality.

Nice large pan good for everything. Excellent for frying chicken and for starting on the stove and finishing in the oven.

Old School Rules!

We have all the best SST and none stick cookware. All have their place in our kitchen but only our new cast iron NEVER leaves the stovetop. It’s place in traditional American cooking at our house is just that forever....traditional! (Thanks grandma. You were right. Nothing is better than cast iron.)

Only Way To Go!

We own 10" and 12" Lodge cast iron fry pans. the 15" is HUGE! We love the size, so much we bought one for our son-in-law for his birthday! Again, with proper care, oiling the pan-NEVER use soap on them--they will last forever. This is a great buy!
