Versatile!

Right after receiving this, I needed to cook a meal for multiple people but was wanting to cook inside instead of on my grill. It fit nicely over 2 burners on my gas stove and worked perfectly! Great addition to my gear and options!

Fits Perfectly On My Grill!

I use this both indoors and out. It's main job is to be a companion to my Weber Crafted griddle, and I'm very pleased with the results so far. This appears to be one of the newer production units after Lodge switched to a finer sand in their molds, because this griddle has a smoother surface... not totally smooth, mind you, but "Lodge smooth." Factory seasoning was ready to cook as soon as I got it hom and washed it (with soap!). The only thing resembling a negative about this product is that I won't be using the grill side any time soon because I'm not interestd in cleaning those grooves. But I wasn't expecting to, so that doesn't matter to me personally.

Indoor Grilling In The Winter!!

I've been looking for a way to "grill" indoors using my standard oven (no built in grill). This grill griddle is just what I've been looking for!! I grill outdoors almost every day when the weather cooperates. When weather doesn't cooperate, I miss grilling my dinner. This grill griddle solved that problem!!

You Need A Lodge Griddle In Your Life

If you haven't experienced cooking on Lodge cast iron, what are you waiting for? It's affordable, it's well-made, and if you take care of it (and it's pretty easy to care for), it'll last until your grandkids have grandkids. Plus: you need more iron in your diet. In all seriousness, though: this griddle is a great buy. It's my third Lodge item and it's getting a lot of use for weekend breakfasts and will get some use this summer when we go camping.
