This Bat Is Horrible

We bought this bat for my daughter to use in 14U fastpitch softball and only used 10 times before it started to rafftle as something is broken inside the bat. For $300 I expected something better!

Bat Rattles After One Spring Season

We bought the Louisville slugger Meta fastpitch bat in August 2024. We were careful to use the aluminum bat she already had at batting cages. She started using this composite bat in the spring. After she hit a triple during playoffs in Spring 2025, she found that her bat started rattling. She just told us which is frustrating because it only lasted one spring season and it cost over $300 including tax.

Great Bat But Minor Issue....

Purchased the bat for my daughter. Had it 4 days. First time up to bat with it and on her 2nd swing it started to rattle up near top. Google searched to find out that it is a known issue with this bat. Had I known I would've purchased another bat. "Pretty common issue with multi-piece bats. Assuming it's not broken, it's the excess glue/epoxy used on the joint that flaked off and is now rattling inside the barrel."

Great Bat

Great bat! I use it now and it's doing good so far...have heard others saying theirs broke easily but not mine. Has a good barrel and hits the sweet spot, would totally reccomend.

Broke After 1 Week

Awful! Bat used one time in a softball cage and broke (rattling). Highly disappointed in product, considering price of item. Disappointed in Dicks limited return policy on bats, even if only purchased one week ago.

Softball Bat

Bought this after my daughter broke her last bat. She loves it, the drop 10 is perfect for her. During practice, you can hear and see the difference and you can see it in her face. Purchased it on sale so it didnt hurt the pocket book too bad. Great Bat!

It Was A Great Bat For A Couple Months

Bought in March, trying warranty return in July. Called store but have to go through Louisville. Fall ball starts in a month and not sure we will have a bat now. It was a great bat for a couple months, but then it rattled.

Bought thus heavier bat for my 11 year old daughter. She's hit at least a homerun or triple each game she has played so far.

It’s a great bat so far. The price was good so we took a chance because we knew we didn’t want to waste our money on a Ghost.

Didn't Last A Season Of Softball

This bat broke and didn't make it through an entire season. She didn't bat most games, so very disappointed to spend this amount of money on a bat that didn't even last a season.

Broke On 1st Use Of Soft Toss. Wont Be Back To Dick's.

Broke on the 1st BP with soft toss. Wont be back to Dick's as they refused the return in store since the plastic was removed. Management was aware that the bat breaks easily and still refused the return. I had to speak with multiple people before someone finally offered a return label. Now having to wait even longer for my money back.

Didn’t Even Last 30 Days.

I bought this bat because we had to send her ghost in for replacement and they said it would take six weeks. This one didn’t even last 30 days so now I’m waiting on shipment for one bat and have another bat that I can’t even use that I’ve got to file a claim on. Ridiculous! Especially for The amount these bats cost.
