About This Item

A lineup that has been 135 years in the making, the Louisville Slugger® MLB® Prime Series Wood Bats benefit from top-class materials, extensive bat knowledge and continued innovation to push performance at the game’s highest level. This signature series bat is designed after Eloy Jimenez’s game model, which takes a classic C271 knob and handle and combines it with a medium S318 barrel for a powerful swing.

Prime Cuts:

  • EXOPRO™ Finish: New coating technology provides a mirror-like finish while hardening the bat’s exterior for extended durability
  • Maple construction features a highly dense composition that maximizes its external hardness
  • Craftsman-Style Cup: Curbs breakage and maintains hardness on contact
  • Bone rubbing process compresses every cell to ensure superior surface hardness
  • Signature EJ74 Player Model: Combines a C271 knob and handle with a S318 barrel for a powerful swing
  • Easy-to-Read Knob: Medallion embedded in the knob indicates grade of wood, species, and length
  • All new seamless decals provide a more pristine look, using technology to apply the logos and graphics under the top coat
  • NOTICE: Baseball/Softball Bats are only eligible for return if they have not been used.

Caught one off the end and broke. Literally 4th day of HS BP. 8 days out of warranty. Rough….just plain rough.

Any Ball Near The End And It Will Break.

I have broken two of these bats. One lasted 5 pitches in the first at bat, fouled a slider away off the end and it broke. It's replacement made it 4 games and broke on change-up on the inner half, granted, the swing was early, but it broke again off the end of the bat. I will go back to my Chris Yelich bats who have lasted me for two seasons, including cage sessions. I still have both of them. The Jimenez is a great swinging bat, but they break super easy if not hit square on the barrel.
