Solid Bat, Runs Heavy

Bat felt good in the store but once i got it home and actually got to swing it it felt heavy. I weighed the bat and for a 32” bat it weighed 31.8 oz and it should be closer to 29 oz. Dicks said they couldn’t return it since it’s a wood bat and i had hit a ball with it even though it was just off of a tee and that I should contact Louisville Slugger customer service. Louisville Slugger customer service was not helpful and kid of rude stating that bats can vary 2 ounces which this was almost 3 ounces over what it should be. I love the RA-13 model but this one was just too heavy and I was disappointed to spend $180 for something that is too heavy to really use on a game and that customer service would not make it right.

High Performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best performing wood bats I’ve swung. Extremely balanced and has great barrel control. Seemed very durable but did break after a month and a half. Louisville slugger was great in honoring the warranty and getting me a new one.

Is Working Great For Adult Slowpitch League

Looked at a lot of reviews prior to purchasing and the only downside I found to this bat was that some people had their break early on. I bought this to use in an adult softball league since composite bats aren’t allowed, and it’s working great! I love the sound of the crack when you hit it clean. It’s heavy compared to composite bats but after one day in the batting cages, I was back to getting good hits.
