Straight Gas
All kids should swing different bats and get the bat they feel confident in getting through the hitting zone. That said, this bat is gas! It is a well balanced bat with a nice sweet spot and great pop. If your kid likes a balanced bad (think CatX), then they will love this one. My older son also got it in the drop 5 and it hits bombs!

Great Bat! My Son Loves It!
My son just joined travel ball team for the first time and bought this bat less than a month. He used it already for 3 games now and few practices. He said he really loves it, it's light as you swing and it gives power when he hits the baseballs. He is very happy to have it!

End-loaded/heavy
I hope this review helps other’s that are buying a bat online. I purchased (4) 29/10 bat’s online for our son’s 8th bday because it’s impossible to weed thru the incentivized & fake review’s vs REAL purchase’s along most not having much info other than the typical “this is a fantastic bat” or “this bat sucks”. We didn’t WANT to buy (4) bat’s, but we also didn’t want to “guess” our son would like it when spending this much $. He was able to get some swing’s in w/ea using a foam ball while keeping the wrapper on & pick the one he felt the most comfortable with & return the (3) other’s. (can’t return if wrapper’s removed or if it’s been used w/a real bball) I rated the Supra 4 star’s b/c it’s advertised as a balanced bat - but it’s w/o a doubt an end-loaded bat! It’s also MUCH heavier than the other (3) truly balanced 29/10’s listed below & has a shorter barrel than the other’s. I’ve learned these are fantastic attribute’s if your kid is bigger & are strong/power hitter’s. We purchased these (4): DeMarini Zen 2¾'' USSSA 2026 Marucci RCKLESS 2¾'' USSSA 2026 Easton Hype Fire Pool Party 2¾" USSSA Louisville Slugger Supra 2¾" USSSA 2026 The lightest weight of those is the RCKLESS - but only by the tiniest margin compared to the Hype Pool & the DeMarini Zen. The barrel length’s of the RCKLESS, Pool Party & Zen are almost identical along w/all (3) being extremely balanced. We didn’t compare the grip’s too closely since they are relatively inexpensive & easy to change. We couldn’t compare durability, but will leave a review w/feedback on the bat our son chose once it’s been broken in & used after a few tournament’s. I’d go w/whatever design/color scheme your kid likes if choosing between the Pool Party/Zen/RCKLESS given the negligible difference!

Disappointed
Disappointed with the bat we received ( 31" -8 Supra) which was defective from the beginning. Correctly broken in by using the tee and now after less than 200 swings the barrel has major cracks afer live pitching as well as major chips of paint broken off. Now we have a broken bat and can't replace because the size needed is sold out.
