I recently ordered this for our team to use in training while we are practicing indoors and our batting cage is being fixed. When I received the item, it was clearly different than described. There is no spring loaded retractable ball. you get 2 flimsy rubber cones thrown in the box that you can screw in. The problems with that are 1) It doesn't allow you to maximize reps and not chase or need dozens of baseballs as described. 2) because the ball isn't fixed or connected to the machine and you are using a basic rubber tee topper, you can't adjust the machine levels or work on different swing paths or the ball falls off the screw in tee. Also some of the bolts and screw holes didnt line up or fit right making the machine less stable when putting it together (One pipe would not slip inside the other connecting piece). Basically, this is just a standard batting tee with bars that is going to cost you $200. I could have bought a similar Horeshoe type swing trainer or swing path connector for a basic tee for $30 if that's what I wanted. Not really worth the price or hassle to put together when it doesn;t even function or have the same features as shown in the pictures and videos.
