Great Feel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been transitioning to using Luxilon strings. 4G is absolutely one of my favorite strings on the market. The feeling and the way it maintains tension is superior to none. Can’t wait to continue using it.

Good Tension Retention

I’m enjoying the 4G as it’s good value and have good tension retention. I have a hybrid setup and use them on my mains. By the time I snap my multi it’s perfect timing as it dies around 3 months

Comfortable Control And Power

I bought this a month ago and had my strings replaced in store. It took 5-7 days to get my racquet back with the new strings tensioned to my liking.

Generates Excellent Power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good performance, but the tension drops after a few matches.

Quality Raquet String!

Could not be more satisfied with this rqaquet string! I was hestitant as my Babolet raquet came with great stringing, but did not loose a step would recommend to anyone. Very verstile and has both pop and feel on the string.

Good String

the string is very good. It has good controls of balls

4g 23kg/53lbs X Wilson Blade V5 18*20

Most demanding racket (18*20) x string combo so far. Baseline: for a total of (just) 6 hours it remained quite stiff. I should have gone 1.5kg lower for better comfort and easier depth. My biggest issue was dealing with low balls on the forehand side. Racket's low maneuverability didn't help keep the ball in-play. Felt tired after 30-45 minutes. Forehands: every shot hit completely flat at chest high had insane control! The sweet-spot was a very small and the stringbed was quite unforgiving. Net clearence was very low. I did hit some successful top-spin forehands from the mid-court towards the sides, but I can't be conclusive about the overall spin potential. Backhands: enjoyed every single 1hbh and 2hbh! They felt better than anything else I've tried so far! The tight string pattern, helped a lot with underspin. Netplay: small sweet-spot, discomfort blocking fast shots. Driving volleys were demanding to hit clean (racket's fault, not me!). Conclusions: When hitting super clean with a quite a tight grip, the results: depth consistency, control and overall feel from the baseline were top-notch. On the other hand, finesse shots were hard to execute. I'd recommend having it strung 1.5kg lower than your normal tension. The Luxilon 4G felt excellent in all backhand shots and had great tension maintenence even when playing after several days in-between. I have to play it with 16*19 to be more conclusive about Spin and Feel, but I feel that I got a quite accurate feedback for a 18*20. Comfort: ⭐⭐⭐➖➖➖ Stiffness: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐➖ Power: ⭐⭐⭐➖➖➖ Ball bite: ⭐⭐⭐⭐➖➖ Spin: ⭐⭐⭐(⭐)➖➖ Feel: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐➖

Not Hurt Elbow Anymore.

I used to use luxilon alu 125 string and I switched to 4g from 2020. Actually I used both strings depending on opponent’s play style. 4g string has less power than Alu but more accurate and absorbed vibration and impact on my elbow that I had struggled due to tennis elbow. After using 4g string with Wilson blade v7 (customized racquet), I never feel elbow pain. At last I found a perfect string for my injured elbow and shoulder. First time, you may feel like 4g makes your swing less powerful but you’ll be used to soon. If you switch your swing angle, such as a blushing swing angle like modern style swing, 4g must be the perfect string for you.

This Is The Good Stuff Mate!

Unbeatable strings. best string of them all. looks amazing with the blue racquets too (ezone, pure drive, etc). delivery was a bit looooooong though but this is good stuff.

Love The Spin It Delivers And Power Off The Baseline.

Great product highly recommend for intermediate to advanced players. Generates a lot of spin and power off the baseline as well as feel around the net.

Best string I’ve ever used. Perfect balance between durability and feel

Packaged Well And Prompt Delivery. Great Product

My Favorite String!

I use this in my cross strings and have been for a year. Super durable, and great overall feel. Most poly strings are very wirey but this string has a softer feel without sacrificing durability.
