Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stool needs some tweaking I thought this would be a great little hunting stool for my blind however if your not on a flat surface with something to lean against go with the 3 legged stool similar to this one. The concept is solid however the backrest falls back to far making it feel like your constantly going to fall over. Also if your not on 100% level ground good luck keeping it from tipping over. A person using this with the backrest down may find it useful for some purpose such as a table to rest calls, drinks, etc. however it is not a great seat. Again I highly recommend the three legged stool sold around the same price much more work the money and much sturdier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Hunting Stool I bought this to use in deer field blinds. I wanted something light, easy to carry, and also comfortable for sitting for many hours. Super light, strap makes it easy to carry over the shoulder, and extremely surprised at how comfortable it is. The back support folds down easily for carrying, yet is set at the perfect angle to sit comfortably for long periods of time. I bought one for myself and my son and on the first use, I had to wake him up a couple of times because he was so comfortable, he kept falling asleep. I've used it three times and it appears it will hold up for many seasons.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not convenient to carry, and not really light weight either. I bought this as a lightweight fishing seat, and in the store it seemed like a good idea. However its not any lighter than any of the seven dollar inexpensive chairs out there, because it is made of decent quality steel. Although its comfortable, it is less stable than chairs with armrests, and you can't really relax. The storage underneath will support light weight stuff, but its kind of in a weird place, underneath you. The strap is a cheap nylon weave and was fraying almost instantly. It is ungainly to carry with a long cross strap and the design would benefit from backpack straps. Also it does not fold rally compactly, its a big square when it's folded... Not a long thin tube like most chairs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Better than sitting on the ground Bought the stool for sitting in the wood, waiting for the groundhogs to come out to "play". Seat is not very deep (front to back), and when you lean back against the backrest, you end up sitting on the rear bar.Not designed nor intended for a long hike - strap is cumbersome, and the stool is awkward when carrying. As the title says, it is better than sitting on the ground for a couple of hours.Purchased a swivel stool some time ago that is easier to carry and a better seat (but no back rest) for the same $$ - would have bought one just like it, but Dick's does not carry it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable hunting stool with a couple of drawbacks. Got this to replace my old stool without the back rest. The back rest is a great addition when things are slow, I just sit back and appreciate the outdoors and the Florida Skeeters. Then when the hunt heats up, it just folds out of the way and you're ready. A couple of improvements I'd recommend, A slightly deeper storage pouch, a little wider carry strap because the strap bites into the shoulder when the bag is heavy. Also on the end opposite the zipper a small pouch large and secure enough to hold a box of 12 gauge shells at the ready for quick retrieval.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great chair for a great price I bought this chair because I was looking for an armless chair that I could easily get out and play guitar on. It's a bonus that I can easily fold it up and put it away. As a 190 lb male, I find that this chair is both durable and comfortable. It's competitors were the tripod stool and they were both more expensive and less comfortable. Whether you are looking for something to take camping, or just simply to use on the front porch like me, do yourself a favor and buy the cool camo chair. It even has a snack pouch... Must I say more?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too tall Bought this for deer blind as to not kneeling the whole time. I’m 6-3 an when sitting I can get a good view of the ground out about 10’. Eye sight line is too high so I had to resort to leaning over to see out the opening. Photo is at eye height
