I bought two of these in preparation for a kayak pond hooping camping trip with my son. After driving three and a half hours to our destination , we set up the carts. We put the kayaks on them with no gear so we could test them out. Right out of the box on of the carts wheels were such a tight fit that it didn't free spin but did turn a little however after reading and following the directions, the cart with the tight wheels was locked up after not even 10 feet and both carts constantly wanted to twist under the boat until the boat eventually tipped and fell off the cart. We tried several modifications to the way we fastening the boats to the carts including ratchet straps and doubling up the straps on both front and back of the carts. After two hours of struggling with these carts we decided to leave them and just carry both kayaks and all of our camping gear for three days, over 1/2 a mile. We returned them on the way home.

Might Be Ok For Some Kayaks, But Will Not Work For Shadowcaster.
Recommended by sales rep, but obviously not knowledgeable on product. Does not stay in place on kayak and kayak rocks on cart. Strap is not very functional and kept slipping and kayak fell off cart on level surface. My advise is get a cart that mounts to scuppers if you have a sit on top kayak.

This does not fit larger kayaks, or tandems, at all. Will be returning soon.

Not Worth The Price
Bought this to help move around our tandem kayak. Its too heavy for the wife to carry an end. It does make the Kayak much easier to maneuver, but tends to collapse on itself even on smooth terrain. I would not recommend this product.
