Has worked really well at Devil’s lake. Durable and pliable.

I got this for top rope soloing. It feels safe and feeds nicely. I have also used it to make a zipline for the kids and it worked well for that too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use rope. I like the black sheath with white core, making it easy to scan for damage. Have used for tree anchors, ascending, and rappels. Works as intended. I’m happy with all my mammut products so far!

This is my new go to for static rope! It's a very soft rope out of the box and I really like the red and black color scheme.

Easy to work with and knot. Used for ascent and rappel. Sheath is good, prusiks and ascenders work well with this diameter 10.5. Grigri and atc friction good. Bionic 8 twists this rope ymmv.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the rope to for rappelling with youth groups. I only used it once since purchase. It held up very well and remained subtle unlike some ropes I've used. I may change my rating after more uses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good handling, softer than my PMI Pit Rope but probably not as durable. Caved a bit with it and its held up well. Interested to see how it holds up when used for route development next summer.

Static line is solid, wear resistant and easy to handle. Some statics are too stiff and difficult to tie knots with - not this one! I got mine in black which is fine but it does make it a little harder to see and work with after sundown.

Beautiful handling and reliability - key reasons Mammut ropes are always my go to. Used to build top rope anchors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this rope for dropping into pits while caving. I haven't had a chance to put the rope to use yet, but no issues so far. Looks to be new as expected and of good quality.

Despite the EN 1891 Type A rating, this rope is probably not appropriate for any of industrial access, canyoning, or caving. It is a fairly high-elongation static rope (I couldn't find an official spec anywhere, but in a test I estimated it to be 9% elongation; one random website I found listed 7%): this makes it extremely unpleasant to frog up, and very sensitive to potential wear points without excessive padding. The bright side is: it's very supple and knottable, feels quite solid, and gives an excellent rappel. If that's all you need from it, or you plan to use it for hauling, it'll serve quite well.
