This harness is pretty comfortable both in the gym and outside. I really like the wide waist belt compared to thinner harness’s I’ve used. It’s not heavily padded but i actually like it that way. The gear loops are also very nice and stiff. Haven’t had any issues with them bending of the plastic breaking yet

Owned for 4 months, used almost daily. The padding around the waist and legs is thick enough that your partner can take many falls and long rests without it turning into a torture device. The gear loops have remained stiff and are well located. I don’t really need the extra waist adjustability this model provides, but it has been convenient for the couple of times others have borrowed it. The only downside might be the “extra weight” of a thicker harness, but honestly it doesn’t feel that much heavier than the average harness and weight isn’t what’s limiting me (skill issue). Also it looks sweet, c’mon. Excellent harness for anyone except the most performance oriented of climbers.

I feel like this harness is a little bulky but I love the sizing for a curvier woman like myself.

I got a M-XL size and was curious to how it would fit. i wear a size 34 pant waist and i tighten the harness all the way down to achieve a tight fit. probably could've gone with the other size, but no way to really know. i only climb indoors, and the harness is comfortable. good option for beginners.

It comfortable for a fatty like myself. I’m 5’11 and 237 lbs and this harness worked well and was comfortable. I recommend it. I went to a local store and tried it on first and the expert voice discount was over half off what the store wanted.

I only started climbing about a year ago and wanted my own harness. I really like this one because it has adjustable leg straps and feels secure. The orange for the left side makes it really easy to identify which side to put on. I feel safe in this harness!

Like the color pattern and overall very functional

Perfect fit and stays warm even when cruising in our side-by-side, our hands were warm . During snow, fights and snow, sledding, and all activities are hands were warm and comfortable although we have not tested the durability of these gloves they seem like they will hold up very well. We ordered three to fit one adult and two kids aged 14 and 18. They seem very happy with the product also I would strongly suggest buying these gloves

This harness is so light and highly adjustable! It's a great solution for a slim person because of how adjustable it is , it has two waist buckles on either side to get a snug fit! It looks sharp and the gear loops are sturdy and keep their shape

I've been using my old harness for many years now and the padding was starting to fray on me, so I thought it was time to upgrade. I've been very pleased with this Mammut harness. It is a very high end harness as for manufacturing quality, comfort, easy on/off, and gear loops. I love the look of it as well. Big fan of this harness and will be buying others in this same product line for my family members moving forward.

Fantastic harness. Like that it is very adjustable and comfortable. Construction seems really solid and is a great value. The first time I used it I had to adjust it more than my last harness due to the split waist but was able to quickly dial in the fit. I’ve only used it gym climbing but seems versatile enough for sport climbs.

Purchased for patroller use in chair evacuation Al ski area. Big fear loops, packs small into evac bags, tow sizes cover all types of people, well made and quick visual crack that they are out correctly.

Great all around harness for the price. Easy to rack and sling gear for long sport routes or mixed trad climbs.

Nice and comfortable harness with lots of padding. Two buckles makes it easy to adjust. Gear lockers are semi-molded and hold gear well. This is a great all around harness.

I’m a newer climber, any experience has been solely with bouldering. I needed to break out of my comfort zone and start to do some top rope in the hopes of working on my fear of heights. Renting a harness was fine but I really wanted something of my own that I would feel comfortable in. This Mammut harness is substantial, feels strong, has very secure straps, is very comfortable, and looks good to boot. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great first harness for indoor climbing. FYI - It is adjustable but fits snug. It’s part of the appeal for me but your mileage may vary.
