Super comfortable to use! very safe, never dropped or slipped. I wish Mammut would make a smart Alpine 2 like they did with the first smart. Super light and compact, would highly recommend as a cheaper alternative to Grigri.

New Favorite Belay Device.
I wanted to try out a new device after using a gri gri for a while now. The smart 2.0 is much lighter and very smooth to use. This device really shines for me when lead belaying it's the smoothest assisted brake device you can get and not to mention at an awesome price point. 10/10 recommend.

I Love It, It’s Cute
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had used the smart 2.0 before. I but this one ‘cus it’s pink and cute and sometimes I like cute things. The carabiner style takes a bit of getting used to, but it’s super clear when it is and is not locked. Did I mention it’s got a bunch of pink on it?
