Slippy Mat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know the mat will break in more with use, but I have to say this mat is SO SLIPPERY. I even followed the instructions to leave sea salt sprinkled on for 24 hours prior to my first use, and as soon as I started sweating, this mat became nearly impossible to use.

Great Mat, But Check The Size

I had to return the mat I received from Dick’s and order it from another retailer, because it was missed labeled here on the e-commerce site. I wanted the black 79 inch which was listed as the correct $110 marked down, but apparently the marked down one was actually the 71 inch which was never actually $110. Confusing and ultimately disappointing… But the mat itself once I finally did for curate is absolutely awesome and I love practicing on it.

Get The Full Size Mat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ‘studio’ model is nearly the same price as the full size model, but not nearly as robust. My wife has the full size one. It is more robust, and slightly thicker. Which, on a hard floor, makes all the difference!

Truly The Best Yoga Mat

I like to sweat when I do my yoga, and even then, I haven’t slipped around on this mat. It’s incredible grip keeps me stable and focused on my practice. Worth the heftier price tag.

Not Worth The Price

So I need to buy sea salt to treat it for 24 hours before I use it... but it was not on the outside of the package. And, when you sweat, it’s super slippery which makes things like downward dog much harder!

Great Mat

I bought this mat a few weeks ago for my boyfriend - he had a handed down mat I previously owned that did not provide comfort and was worn down. The Manduka mat provided that comfort he needed/wanted and the simple dark blue color is calming. I give 4 stars because the my boyfriend slips around on it during yoga - his solution to the problem is to wear socks. I am one who does not like to wear socks during yoga. Other than that, great mat and would recommend.
