[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mat for travel, and it's awesome. I wanted it to be thin enough to fold for easy carry-on, and grippy enough that I didn't slip when I get sweaty. I'm very satisfied with the grip -- more than other manduka mats I've tried and about the same high grip level as my Jade mat I use regularly. Very happy with the mat!

Pretty But Not Practical
I bought the acai color mat almost 2 years ago. I've used it off and on during that time, and here are my thoughts. Pro: the original color is stunning, and the mat is super thin and portable. Cons: it slips around on the floor, and my hands are constantly sliding. It's still smelly. The color has faded and browned in areas - it's just weird. So, no, I wouldn't recommend this one.

My Second Unsafe And Slipper Manduka
I have had yoga mats that are slippery for my hands, but never one that won't stay put on the floor until NOW. This mat bunches up against the wall in front of me and pushes me up against the wall during class. I can assume the slipperyness on the top side of the mat will fade with use, but I'm not sure I'll be able to get to that point with the slipping underneath the mat. The first Manduka I purchased never broke in and was slippery to the point that it was unsafe, this one is unsafe in another way but still unsafe. Go with another brand.

I Love It For Travel And Backpacking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second eKO SuperLite Yoga Mat. I keep one in my office for lunchtime yoga breaks, and the second goes backpacking with me. As it's lightweight, it isn't as well cushioned as my heavier Manduka mat, but it has excellent traction and folds down so packably small!
