This is lightweight but keeps my mat dry and keeps me from slipping during hot yoga!

So I didn't actually buy this for a yoga mat I bought this for my gym bag and my camping supplies. Most microfiber towels range between 10 and $80 depending on the size that you are looking for and it is harder and harder to find a decent microfiber towel that dries quickly for bigger dudes. I do ultralight camping kayaking and things like that plus I go to the gym every other day. Having towels that dry in minutes instead of being soaking wet in my gym bag is exactly the kind of thing I need in my life. This was more expensive than I would like but with this single towel I can get all of my hair and my entire body dry and as long as I don't ball it up and shove it into the bottom of my bag if I just hang it off of the locker while I'm getting dressed it is mostly dry by the time I am ready to leave the gym. Also this is only the fourth one I have ever bought and I bought it to replace one that got torn up while camping, and I have had them since 2012. More expensive than I would have liked to have paid but I will more than get its use by the time that I have to replace it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this towel and use it for everything; yoga, to sit on in my car after I’m sweating from a workout, as a blanket on airplanes or at games, as a regular towel. It has so many uses!

Kept me from sliding around and getting hurt plus it is easy to care for

This wonderful towel does exactly what it is supposed to do. Super absorbent, soft and is perfect for my hot yoga classes. It also washes really well, just be sure to avoid using fabric softener.

Got this so I wouldn't be slip sliding all over during hot yoga and it works well. Provides grippiness for my feet & hands and absorbs the sweat dripping off my brow. It is slightly longer & wider than my mat, so sometimes gets wrinkled up a bit and I have to straighten it out. I have yet to launder so am unsure how it will hols up post-wash. Good purchase though and a great accessory for hot yoga. Recommend it.

2nd one purchased ... need to replace after 1 year of regular hot yoga & coinciding washes. Only gripe is after a bunch of washes it starts losing it's non-skid properties.Best I've tried, but still looking for a better one.

Great hot yoga towel. Sprinkle a little water on it to keep from slipping during class.

Yoga towels: to buy or not to buy? If you are a regular hot yoga goer this is your question. And Manduka's towel is the definite answer if you are a super sweater. Beginning of class you may feel a little sliding, but it doesn't take long and all that sweat keeps you and your towel right where you need to be vinyasa after vinyasa! (Wash before use and only with darks!)

I use this towel for hot yoga to put over my mat. It is very absorbent for the sweaty sessions, but doesn't always stay put on the mat. However, for $20 (on sale) I am definitely getting my money's worth!

This towel is super absorbent and super compact. It is the perfect size to take to the gym for use as a shower towel. Big enought to wrap around your waist but yet small enough to fit into your gym bag. No complaints other than the cost.

Covers my entire mat, stays sticky for a long time when I mist it with water, super absorbent for other uses, soft, durable. Love the color too!
