Rated 1 out of 5 by from For years, I have used a length of webbing with a taut line hitch tied at either end to carry my mat and blanket rolled together. Occasionally, the knots would come loose and need to be re-tied, so I initially assumed the sling from Manduka would be an improvement. After using it for several weeks, however, I find the gravity cinch problematic: the sling often slips off or migrates, my mat and blanket get partially unrolled and sometimes separated from each other. Also, the length is insufficient with my thicker roll to let me sling the bundle across my back and free my hands. I would prefer a slightly longer strap with a mechanism that stays cinched, something like the buckles on my pack straps.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I like the simplicity of the sling. Not much can go wrong, it is easy to store and cinches down well on a yoga mat. Because the diameter of the mat in the sling is irrelevant, the sling can wrap up your mat even if it has a "hot yoga towel" inside of it. I wish it had just a tad bit more going for it. Some tacky material on the spot where it rides on your shoulder, mine kept sliding off. A spot to clip keys or a sweat towel or somewhere to hang a water bottle? With so many lightweight "slings" out there, that have small (or even big) pockets for this kind of thing, this sling just seemed too minimal for my use. The easy use ended up being a hassle, trying to carry everything, and have this small sling over my shoulder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this mat strap! I use it literally every day! I love how it just slips over the ends and tightens on it's own, it is so much easier than any other that I have ever used, and you don't have to deal with elastics wearing out and losing their tightness or using velcro and making tons of loud, annoying noise after a relaxing yoga session. I would 100% recommend this mat strap to anyone and everyone. I love it! :)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I have bought quite a few mat slings. Everything from pricey to cheap and in between. This Manduka may sling wasn't my cup of tea. It was slippery and didn't hold my mat that well. The strap also cut into my skin when slung around me. This one was just not for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this sling! I have a velcro strap but this one is much easier to use and is quieter, which is nice for not interrupting the calm, relaxed atmosphere after a yoga practice with a loud velcro sound.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The strap doesn't really hold tight in any way when it's not over your shoulder, so it's really easy for the mat to slip out. A good idea, but not well executed. I prefer just using a bungee.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I gave this a low rating only because I already have a yoga mat sling. I am debating removing yoga off my interests survey only because a sling isn't something I need more then one of.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It is pretty good, minimalist style, but I feel like it doesn't provide as much coverage as a full yoga mat bag does. The strap is also very long. Good quality for what it is though.
