I bought this for my first ever yoga class, and it did the trick just fine. It is sturdy and firm, and I had no issue balancing on it. It did feel a little slippery once I got some sweat on it.

Just What I Was Looking For!
I purchased this mat a month ago and I love it. It is thin enough to roll up easily but still remain comfortable. I also appreciate the mat can be used on either side. The grip is also enough to keep me in place during challenging movements and I don’t slide even with sweaty palms.
