Works Great, Caught Crabs First Time Out

Impressed with how sturdy the trap is. The spring back on the sides works great. Worked like a charm the first time we used it. Looking forward to more usage.

Product Does Not Work Well

Trap constantly malfunctions and lets catch go due to not closing tightly

Needs Better Lines

I ended up restringing the trap doors because the cotton line on the trap was insufficient.

Bought 3, 0 Worked

I bought 3 of these cages. I had to re-arrange the string set-ups just to get them to close properly to begin with. Then, each time they went in the water, it was a 50-50 chance on whether they would come up closed properly, sideways and caught, or stuck closed and had to be reworked again. I've been crabbing for 25 years and I've never had cages give me as many problems in that entire time as these did in one outing. Save your money.
