Very Sturdy And Well Built

I bought this for surf fishing this month, haven’t tested it out yet but it seems sturdy and secure

Not Reliable

Broken by small striped bass. Almost lost my rod. Do not recommend

Good Item

Have been using this sand spike for a full season at the surf with no issues, easy & quick to set in hard or soft sand. Have caught everything from whiting to shark and its held up just fine. The aluminum spike bent slightly on a large fish (set my drag too tight) but stayed planted in the sand like it should. No issues with the PVC chipping or breaking. Happy they are back in stock to pick up a couple more.

Terrible Product

I was only able to use this once and it broke. The first bite I had while using it, the plastic broke from the metal spike and my rod/reel fell in the sand. I also lost my bait and whatever bit it.

Snapped

Hooked in a decent size fish the first time using the rod holder and it snapped the PVC immediately.

Waste Of Money!

Broke when first fish struck and snapped in half, cheap plastic
