Without modification these traps are useless. The doors get stuck inside the trap, causing the doors to never open when it is dropped. A solution(although it takes away the collapsing aspect of the trap) I found is to trim the "flap" that holds the cage open. Leave the last row on each side intact but cut out the middles, leaving just the top bar. After doing that, ziptie the intact ends at a 45*angle to the side of the trap. That pulls the top down slightly which prohibits the doors from going inside the trap. If you need them collapsed for transport, just cut the zipties and reapply them next outing. I went from hardly catching anything before modifications to catching way more.
