Nice And Light

This sand rod holder is great for holding my surf rod while I am trying to change baits or lures, preventing my rod and reel from falling into the sand. It is a little difficult to bury the pointed end of the pbc into the sand though. So far I like this a lot.

Short, Shallow, Tips Over

You'll get what you pay for with this one. Drives down too short and the stopper line does not leave any grip to your rod. Longer handle rods will fall out. I had to pack this thing in on a straight up and down angle and a 2lb sand shark pulled it over. Spend the extra money and get a full size spike with an attached post.

Bad Quality

Bought 3 of these for fishing on the surf. Spun the first in the sand and it bent the pointed tip… 2nd one did the same… 3rds the charm. Rebent them back and had it worked.
