Solid Pole For The Price!

I expected something quite a bit more flimsy based on other reviews but this is a solid rod and larger and thicker than expected. I paired it with a 3000 reel and I have no issues pulling in trout or redfish. It’s collapses and it’s perfect to keep in the back seat.

Great Rod For Surf Fishing

This is a great product I would suggest using it. It's very Compact and light but yet strong when you extend it.

Kellams_J

Yeah the material of this product is terrible, the eyes of the rod were already bent and the retractbility of the rod broke after 1 use. Terrible product do not buy. Couldn't even pay me 1$ to use it for how much of a pain it is.

It Serves A Purpose

The quality is mid, but I needed something to store away in a small compartment with a reel, so great for that purpose. I don’t expect to catch tarpon with this rod or for it to hold up over time, but for a quickie, this gets the job done.

Perfect For A Weekend Or Travel Under 20 Bucks.

Its great for what it is. Your buying a rob that's under 20 bucks.if you expect a 60$ rod for 18 bucks then you going to be unhappy, and your an idiot. The rest of the reviews are funny. its .2 in short. it broke after taking it out a few times. ITS LESS THEN 20 BUCKS. If you want something premium dont be cheap and go buy something premium. If you want something decent for travel or vacation you will be super happy.

No Thanks

I got one for Christmas I love it,, but the first time I use it got stuck and broke,, so:(

Solid Product, Great Price

I bought this about a month ago to add to my fishing gear, it is a solid rod and fits my reel perfect. I have not used it yet but being a solid rod, it should be perfect for fish inder 15lbs.

Broke Right Out Of The Box!!

I got it out of the box and the top part of the telescopic rod retreated into the base of it and the eye fell off then fired right through the grip garbage!!!! Do not buy!

Not True To Length

I bought this and was delivered today, when i I checked it out I knew its not 8 ft long.. was measured and only 7’ 8”...

Marathon Sentinel Telescopic Rod

I purchased 2 of these rods and they compete nicely with the rest of my fishing arsenal. I have hooked up with everything from Bream to a very nasty 50 Lb. turtle and they both give me exactly what I expect, "Top Notch Performance." The only reason this rod isn't receiving 5 stars is because I had to repair the tip, of one, upon arrival.

Compact For Travel

Telescopic rods travel well and are quite handy, but tend to the light side. This rod can handle several ounces of casting weight and will serve well for light saltwater boat and pier use.

Great In A Pinch

I needed something I could travel to the Caribbean with. This exceeded my expectations. I casted off the boat, bottom lined, trolled in a dingy catching gangs of fish. Made sure to to rinse off the salt. Dunno how many trips it will survive but for $20 it was a great buy for some novel fun.

Horrible

First time getting it setup, every single eyelet broke.

Snapped

The third time out I broke it. The second section from the tip snapped with 30 pound test. I would use it only for pan fish. Anything larger may break it. I guess I can fix it with a solid section but then it won't fit in a suitcase.
