I bought this rack because I wanted something reasonably priced to hold mid-level amount of weight plates. When I got to the final bolt of assembly (the vertical angle brace), I found that the holes did not line up! Tried starting from either side, finger tight to allow movement and still off. Clearly drilled off a hair from factory. Had to disassemble and return. Sad....

Well balanced, even when weights are not even on both sides, Sturdy and inexpensive.

I have a home gym and this was perfect for me. I wanted to make sure I have everything we need without breaking the bank and splurging on organizing was not in the plans. This was perfect and strong enough to support my Olympic plates. I have 255 Lbs of plates.

We are happy with her purchase… It’s nice to have the weights up off the garage floor!

I bought two of these weight storage trees about 4 weeks ago. They are very good and hold up to 500 lbs or so each. I am very pleased with this purchase.

The pain on the pegs has already scraped off in less than two months. Structurally, it seems sound. I have 300 pounds hanging on it right now. I'll continue to add weights over time. If it fails, I will update this review with how much weight caused the failure.

I don't usually review products but I came across this tree that I purchased a few years ago that I still own and decided to do it some justice. Bottom line I love it. It holds an entire Olympic size weight set (300 lbs) and it has room for extra weights. As described by another reviewer as long as you stack your weights accordingly it will work as intended. For the price you cant go wrong with this one.

This product has a weight limit of 500 lbs. For some reason, this isn't shown on the website. I currently only have 265 lbs, but this weight tree seems to do just fine for this weight. I found it interesting that the 2" posts are actually larger than the center square tubing so only part of the tubes are welded/secured. I can definitely see where the 500lb weight limit would come into play. Overall though, the only real flaw to this product is in its part tolerances. When my unit was level to the floor, the bottom-center piece ended up at a slight angle. Angled enough to where there is about 1/16" excess above the very back piece this is bolted to. Furthermore, the angled piece connected to the front post took a bit of muscle to line up to the bolt holes. Once tightened, the tree feels quite sturdy regardless of these deficiencies, however. Just be sure to let everything level itself before tightening the bolts. I went ahead and gave it five stars since it met my expectations for the price. Simply put, it does its job and its half the price than other trees I found. Granted, rated at half the weight too...

I have had this rack for many years. It stores an entire olympic set in a compact footprint. You have to stack the weights on it properly for them all to fit. 45s and 35s at the bottom and the smaller weights up top. The bars are staggered so the whole set will fit.

I purchased this to organize my olympic weights. When I received it, I rushed to put it together to use with my weights. What I didn't take time to do was look closely at where the pegs were aligned. Once I had it assembled and started placing weights on it, I noticed that I could only put my plates on the bottom two pegs. The others were too close together for actual full size plates. While assembling it, I had scratched some of the paint so I realized I probably couldn't send it back so I ended up setting it out in the trash. Lastly, while pushing the plates on the bottom pegs, they slid on fine on one peg but had to be spun onto the other. That leads me to believe the pegs weren't assembled with good quality control and were either a little big or irregularly shaped. That made me worry about what it would do to the ring in the plate and whether that would cause them to feel lose on the bar. If you're looking for something to hold olympic sized small plates, this may be fine. If you're looking to hold a reasonable amount of olympic plates (e.g. 230lbs) this probably isn't a good fit.
