Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great home gym I got this at Dicks for $499, then tax made it $540. My gym membership was $45/month, or $540/year. It didn’t make sense financially to keep paying a gym. Plus, all the time I wasted commuting and the days I didn’t go because I couldn’t fit the drive into my schedule.. something had to change. I initially bought a cheap rack for $200, but it wasn’t stable and I maxed out the weight on it quickly. I did a lot of research before buying Marcy, and this is the perfect home gym rack. There is nothing else like it at this price point. I set it up in about two hours, but after I did it once it only took me 30 minutes to set it up again when I moved apartments. It’s very easy to take apart and put together and one mat under it was enough to protect my carpet. I highly recommend this gym.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2 years of heavy use and I’m still impressed I use it for benches, squats, pull ups, cable exercises. I regularly use it with 300lbs and it’s extremly stable. I put a 1/2” rubber mat under it to protect my floors and even with the mat the unit could fit in my basement with the low ceilings. This was important to me because I like to do wide grip pull ups and I needed a smaller footprint, lower profile machine that could still handle weight. Setup is easy, straight forward. I’ve disassembled it and reassembled it long after losing the instructions. It’s very intuitive. It’s a one-man job, takes about an hour.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Chin-up bar bent and broke at the weld My 10th grader was doing chin-ups, and the right chin-up bar bent at the bottom and severed at the top weld. You would think for nearly $500, the steel would be strong enough to support a skinny kid.BOO Marcy. I would not purchase their products, as their product lack quality!
