Don't know why, but the bike does not adjust the tension so it is always too hard to pedal.

Excellent Value For The Price

Don’t let the assembly requirement deter you from making this purchase. This is everything one needs in a basic recumbent bike at a very low price. For assembling, I strongly recommend that you carefully inventory all the parts, stock a number on them with a sticky note, and lay them out on the floor — you need at least sixty square feet to lay out the parts and to start assembling the base. A second pair of hands helps for the first 30-60 minutes; from there it’s doable with one pair of hands. Just a lot of bending, no really heavy or bulky parts. Connecting the tension cord in the column to adjust your resistance is the most delicate part, easy to get it wrong and you will know if you did get it wrong. If necessary, you might have to take apart to the competed column and check your work closely against the detailed diagram for the connection. Be sure to really tighten all the bolts and to read the manual for the monitor. Then go to work (out).

It Come With Defective Parts

I bought This amount ago worst purchase I ever made . Parts come defective .I try to call customer support to get a new part to replace the defective one which that part never arrived . The customer support team couldn’t give good options to fix the problem . I build the bicycle half way just to turn it apart and put it all together back to the box . Then I have to drag the bicycle all the way to dicks sport ( which the bicycle is really heavy) in order to return it . Honestly don’t buy this not worth it at all .

Bike Review

Love the bike, but the assembly was very difficult. We were missing washers and screws as packaging was torn. The small wrench we were given broke right at angle and we had to purchase a hex head to finish the assembly. Apart from assembly the bike is good

Worth The Money

Sometimes my knees touch the hand bars and my feet hit the floor when using

Still Waiting For Assembly Sub-contractor To Call And Schedule (They Have Charged Me Already For This)

The box containing the exercise bike is sitting unopened in my foyer. I have called Select Express (assembly subcontractor) and complained back to Dick's Customer Service more times than I want to list here. I did get a call (finally) from Select Express and paid them $95.71 by credit card to hve someone come to assemble this week. No One had called to schedule. They have to this Friday, then In will have VISA cancel that payment and I will h return the bike to my local store.

Exercise Bike?

In all fairness, I bought the bike for my 94 year old Mother who does not need a hard workout. She can set in it comfortably and pedal the bike at Resistance 8, the highest level. If I were to use it, I would find the resistance setting to light, just making the pedals go round and not really exercising. A review of online posts did not find a way to increase the resistance.
