We absolutely love this equipment! It has so many options for exercise you do not have to be repetitious unless you want to be. Sturdy, well made- we are thrilled to have it. The one exercise we wish it had was a leg press option.

I've owned the Marcy Home gym and it's been awesome no complaints. A great invest for body and soul.

I am on my third long cable. It is fine for a while then it starts to twist. I also have one place that has frayed on all three cables. I think you need to re-design the weight trolley to have two, one for each side. Very frustrated and disappointed. I have photos but, don't see a way to attach them.

The machine itself seems great! We are in the process of building it, however, building it is an obstacle all on its own. Parts are in 5 different boxes and scattered throughout. There are thousands of parts, including the nuts and bolts, which are actually packaged and labeled, but hard parts you have to dig for in separate boxes. Would be awesome if on the instruction sheet, these parts were labeled as to which box they are in.

Took some time to assemble. Bench is to tall for someone 5'9". Overall works well.

I love this piece of equipment, you can do EVERYTHING. I will never need another gym membership again. Although it is rather large if you do not have enough space. It was very easy to put together, besides there was one part with the silver bars I questioned which it was talking about but the heavier one goes behind the red front piece as I assumed. Other than that the pulley system is slick and glides nice as well does the assisted squat. This is all you'll ever need and I am very impressed and happy with my purchase. Only negative I would have to say is I wish the bench came with a leg extension.

Bought this for a Christmas gift for our son after some problems getting set up due to the company that was scheduled to set it up the manager at the Bel Air Md store who took care of the issue and got it taken care of 4 days before Christmas. The first guy that was scheduled to deliver and set up came at 4pm and brought it in the house and then proceeded to tell us it was too late and we will have to reschedule, this was the 18th of December, after no return call from this company I stopped in my local Dicks store and spoke with the manager, he called back later that day and it was set up and ready to go 2 days before Christmas. Set up took about 6 hours with 2 guys who do this for a living, I would recommend paying the extra for set up. The machine itself is very well-built solid equipment, does so many different things, make sure you measure your space. It does not come with weights, so you have to buy them separately. So far, my son and husband are happy with the machine.

I've had the SM-4033 for a year, using 5 days a week since purchase. I love it. The unit is solid and works like new today after a year of heavy use just as it did on day 1. It can do everything I need with a few acceptations that can be purchased as accessories. I purchased a Bolt Fitness BLAZE LEG EXTENSION/LEG CURL ATTACHMENT for the bench, fits perfectly. I also added grab handles for doing both leg curls and leg extensions to the bench. Added multi grip handle attachment kit and RDX hanging ab straps to hang from the pullup bar. Other than that it's been everything I expected it to be.

I have not been able to use my Smith machine yo its full capacity and am not very happy at all. Something needs to be done or else I need to return this. The cable system (retention) sucks and it only appears a quarter functional if you put a ton of weight on it but then you are unable to lift anything I have now seen this as a common issue after researching on youtube.

I highly recommend getting the SM-4033. While this is not a high-end machine it has many features that will meet the needs of the average, to above-average athlete. The price is a good deal, it is well designed, made of good materials, and went together very well. At the end you will have a solid piece of equipment that you will want to work out on. A couple pieces of advice: 1) Take your time lining up the bolts and nuts; they will cross thread if you rush. Also, have someone to help hold things as you assemble. 2) Use a socket wrench, things will go together more quickly. 3) Don't tighten anything until the end, especially the pulleys. More experienced assemblers won't have any problems, but I had to re-feed the pulley cables through more than once because I rushed. 4) Don't tighten the vertical slide poles (you'll know what I mean when you see them). Just tighten the screws enough to keep the poles in place. The sliding mechanisms need a bit of flexibility in the poles. Once you have it right, the slides function perfectly. 5) The longest cable might twist a bit when you first start using it. I had to manually lift the weight holder in the back and work the twist out through to the ends of the cable. The twisting went away after about 3 "untwisting" sessions. I think there is some residual twist set in the cables during manufacturing that comes out when you start using them with significant weight on the ends. If given a the chance, I would buy this machine again.

Great machine! The quality is excellent. It is very well build, I am very satisfied with everything. Installation is long, do not rush. Videos on YouTube are very helpful.

The entire process has been positive. Ordered, communicated regarding delivery, well packaged. Although its a little intimidating with all the parts laying out, following the video to assemble was problem free. So far really like the set up. Bought a few accessories to make it work for us. No more need for gym membership. Great product.

I biggest complaint is the bench that came with the machine. Totally unusable, it sits 22 inches off the ground, I cant even rest my feet on the ground when using it. My son who is 6ft 2 can't put his feet flat on the ground when using it. The Decline bench you'll break your back trying to decline and use it. I had to keep my old bench in order to bench, incline. It's only 17 inches off the ground. Very Very Disappointed with the bench. The overall machine seems to be OK so far, the pulley system and smith machine are not the smoothest gliding but I had read that prior. It's not a pro gym and expected. I would love to hear from the company as to what can be done about the bench.

It took 14 hours straight to assemble but well worth it. Greatly engineered.
