Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Equipment BUT!!!!! This is a good product for SOME Helmets but it is NOT!!! a ONE SIZE FITS ALL!!!Just purchased a new Easton Helmet to replace a Under Armor one. Product fit the Under Armor properly without drilling (which negates the warranty) but the products is not properly contoured to fit the Easton. Mounting screws are to short due to the product not being flat enough for the sides of the Easton Helmet. This company should promise what they are supplying. Now my wife has to travel back to the store and exchange for a new Under Armor Helmet which we know it fits. Unhappy kid, wife, unhappy life!! WOULD HAVE LOVED TO GIVE A FIVE STAR BUT PRODUCT DOES NOT SUPPORT ITS CLAIM ONE SIZE FITS ALL.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not fit Easton or Rawlings Purchased the C flap which looks great. But it wont fit onto a Rawlings which has two holes or a Easton that has three holes- if I drill a hole not only does it VOID the helmet warranty but tears out the inside lining. It would be helpful if it said on the packet what helmets it fits - because its not universal. The holes on the template line up on the ear hole of Easton and clearly cannot drill into a empty ear hole - so aburd!!!!I would have purchased a new helmet that goes with the C flap instead of all this trial and error and wasted time given that I dont have time between work and travel to keep going back to the baseball store in heavy Houston traffic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must for every player! Safety and Protection I bought about a month ago for my 16 yr old son. He plays on 2 different baseball teams and I have seen more than enough injuries and close calls to the face and head area. It's a NO BRAINER when a batter is standing 60ft from the pitcher throwing 80 and 90 mph pitches. I've also noticed how many major league players (Pirates) have started wearing this additional guard on their helmets as well. Just an added piece of mind and safety. And the good news is it has not hampered his ability to hit the ball nor was there any adjustment to getting use to it being there. It should be a requirement in my opinion.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for all helmets Hardware is useless for DeMarini or Easton helmets. Will have to go hunt for screws long enough to actually reach the T-Nuts. The screws that came with, doesn't even reach the helmet. Also the tape to hold the C-Flap in place for install doesn't even reach the surface of the helmet. My guess is this product is designed for a basic little league helmet. Also flat color options would of been a plus. My local sports store had only one color, in gloss.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fit an Easton helmet Couldn't find any installation instructions (strange for a safety advice), then read reviews here from people who couldn't install it on Easton helmets, which my son has (disconcerting). I wouldn't call myself unusually handy, but I got it to work. I unscrewed the snap attachment from the helmet, and installed the screws in that whole and the one next to (top hole is empty). The screws provided were short, but by pushing on the screwdriver the screws caught enough threads to hold. I gave the flaps a few wacks with my hand, and it held. I will edit this review if the flap falls off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install This was a must with baseball attached easy and looks good . I would say to get this for any one playing ball this will protect your child's face or yours . We're in AAA and the kids tend to pitch all over the place and protect your kids face .Now all the kids on my child's team will be ordering this item .. Not one issue with blocking vision looks great also

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not approved for Little League use If your player wears this flap to an official tourney, they’ll make him take it off. Right there at the field. And if you drilled holes in the helmet to install the flap, you’ve voided the NOCSAE certification of your helmet (which means he still can’t use the helmet). It’s a shame that people will waste money on this because some of the pros have it, and they think it will give their kids confidence or protection. Please, install a certified safety cage on your helmet if that is what you need.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed! The product comes with pre-drilled holes, but the packaging didn't specify what helmets those holes are drilled for. It certainly doesn't fit Boombah or Mizuno helmets, the only two kinds of helmets my kid owns. It also doesn't come with any installation instructions. I searched the internet for some sort of guidance, was especially hoping for a YouTube type video since I am not good with tools and didn't want to make a mistake and ruin my kid's helmets. I chalked this up to a waste of money and lesson learned.
