Batting Helmet, Jaw Protection

These batting helmets it’s a must to have these jaw protectors on them. This is easy to mount drill. Couple screws tighten it down with the screws that are provided, and it could save your child from a broken jaw or worse.

Solid Piece, But Doesn’t Fit On All Helmets

Bought this for my son. Didn't realize until we got home that this piece does not fit on Easton helmets. It’s a solid piece, but check online before buying to see if it will work for your helmet brand.

Perfect Addition To Batting Helmet

Got this to add to my son's helmet after he cot a concussion and broke his cheekbone and lower orbit. Added to the rawlings batting helmet that already had a c-flap on on side. No balls are getting to his face now!

Face Saver!

My 12 year old son got smoked in the face last weekend by an inside fastball. It was the second time that he has taken a pitch to the face/helmet over the past few years, and both times this helmet and C-Flap jaw gaurd has saved him. He is good, they classified it as mild symptoms. No cognitive activity for a couple of days and no physical activity for a couple of weeks. We all know that this could have been much worse. The doctor at Children's said that wearing the face guard definitely saved him from bigger injuries. Do not know if the C-Flap jaw gaurd is supposed to shatter the way it did but who cares, it has done its job twice. It is worth it's weight in gold and then some. This message is simply to say thank you and to let you know that we value the Markwort C-Flap name and its products.  Our son will always play with a face/jaw guard, no discussion!

Not Easy To Use

In the instructions, after picking your helmet (none were really like ours) it said to gently lift the padding inside the helmet and drill through the helmet to make the appropriate holes. The padding is attached to the helmet, and the stress of drilling "just the wrong way" made the purchase not worth it. Returned the item.

C Flap For Helmet

Not really a universal fit unless you want to drill holes in your helmet. Lacks good instructions and drilling helmet messes up the foam liner regardless of how you do it.

Perfect Fit, And Great In A Pinch

All of the helmets with the face guard were sold out. We bought this and it fit great, looks great, and works great. Our cashier helped to make sure it would fit the helmet, and I am very thankful.
