More Like Stomach Guard

Unfortunately the guard did not fit my son well (who is 8). The protection is more located at the stomach, rather than the chest.

Junk Do Not Buy

I have four kids and bought 4 different sizes for each of them. The shirts fit but the pad was so low it would only protect against them getting hit in the stomach. No protection for their chest. Totally Worthless if your kids plan on pitching. I sent them all back do not bother buying this unless you plan on resewing the pad higher.

Heart Shield Too Low

Bought this shirt for my 12 year old son. The shirt fits fine, but the heart shield is way too low (sits at his stomach). Returning

Doesn't Protect The Right Location.

The heart protection is located too low on the shirt. We ordered an XXS for my daughter who pitches and normally wears a girls size 8 shirt. The only protection it provided was for her stomach area. We are returning it an ordering an Evoshield.

No Heart Protection At All

My 9 year old is small for his age, and my 7 year old is big for his age. Both of their chests measure 26''. Knowing that the size chart had the smallest size at a 27", I ordered the XXS, understanding that it may be a little big. The actual shirt fit fine, but the heart guard was at their belly buttons. Not one part of the guard was at their chest. I can't image that the guard would be in the correct place for a child measuring 27" either. Very disappointing.

Best Protection

This is the second one I have bought for my daughter who plays pitcher, catcher and shortstop for her softball team. The first one she grew out of. It is comfortable and durable. I best part is that the actual heart guard is the strongest on the market. I feel much better having her play fast pitch at the pitcher's position with this shirt on. We were going to go to another brand but she said the heart guard was the most comfortable and offered the best protection.Just wish we could have gotten one in the store. Had to be ordered online within the store but it came with free shipping.

Doesn't Fit

I ordered a size xxs for my 7 yr. old who is of average/sl. above average height and less than average weight for his age. The dome was at his abdomen! Will need to return, there is no smaller size! He is by far not the smallest child playing baseball so this doesn't make sense to me.

Shield Was Not In The Right Place

We got a properly sized shirt for our son, but the heart guard plate/shield sat way too low. It was down on his stomach with only the top petal anywhere near his heart. We tried to adjust the shirt to get the shield in place, but it would not stay in the correct location. Since it's sewn in, there's no way to adjust the shield's location within the shirt. Returned.

Product Great Grandson Uses Everytime He Plays Softball

First of all I want to apologize for any problems I placed on your order staff, I was so desperate for the product. It it very great and protects my younger grandson, my older grandson the product was to small for him. Very pleased can't wait until you store opens up closer to use. Thank you.

I'll Keep Buying

We've used this for all three of our sons' little league games and practices -- especially when they're pitching -- since we saw a heart surgeon's son wearing one. This is the best of all the heart-guards. We still use the first one we bought, and after dozens and dozens of washings, it looks brand new. It fits well, which is important, because the guard must cover the heart. We highly recommend it and will continue to buy them as the boys grow.

I bought this shirt for my 8-year old son. It is a great quality for the price. It is comfortable and my son does not mind having it on under his uniform.

Heart Guard Not Big Enough

the product sizing is not accuarate

I Would Highly Recommend This Product.

Our son has worn this product for baseball since he was 6 years old. We are on our third shirt because he keeps growing out of them. After looking at all the other brands we felt this was the best product because of the protective dome. Other shirts felt like they just put layers of padding in the shirt. This shirt has a sewn in insert that can withstand impact. If a line drive hits this dome the chest will not take the impact the dome will. I would recommend this product to anyone and we have recommended this product. Very pleased.
