Plenty Of Shoulder Room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice bag. It's light and warm. The down loft is suburb. I was worried about the shoulder girth, but I found it to be plenty even while wearing a puffy jacket.

15-degree Bantamweight Ultralight Sleeping Bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This my second Bantamweight bag, I'm a thru-hiker and enjoy this ultralight bag. It compresses well and it does a good job of keeping me warm when the mountain or desert temps dip below freezing. For a 7D fabric it does hold up. The middle zip is ideal for not over heating on the warmer nights.

Very Light And Compact 3 Season Bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice bag, recommended as a basic tool for all kinds of spring/summer/fall mountain adventures. I've used a bag like this (from another manufacturer, also with a half zipper) for nearly thirty years, and needed another for trips with my son. This one looks as good or better. I've also used a variety of quilts and lighter bags. These can be fine for low-altitude midsummer trips such as the Appalachian Trail south of Vermont, or minimum temperatures above 50F. However, somewhere below 50F, you want a hood. "20F" quilts of all sorts lack a hood, and aren't much lighter either. Very light weight is optimized here, with the use of a half-zipper and also a tight cut. Some people may prefer the comfort of a looser bag with a full zipper. This bag is warm enough for the occasional early-morning dip below freezing, but I would take something heavier if regular temperatures in the 20s are expected.

Love It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great bag. Toasty, long, light weight. What's not to like.

Marmot Bantamweight 15° Bag

Incredibly warm and super lightweight! Great bag! Not a huge fan of the partial front zip. (Kinda hard to get into and out of)

This Bag Is Assume.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot wait to take this bag on the Arizona Trail this year. 900 fill goose down. I'm sorry but I am not a "quilt guy". I enjoy the mummy shape. It is my favorite bag.

Awesome Warmth, Great Quality, But Two Drawbacks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Note: I have not field tested this bag, but tried it at home and have three other sleeping bags: a WM 5 degree, MH 15 degree, and another Marmot Phase 15. I was excited to try this, as have always loved the Marmot bags for quality and warmth. I'm a stomach sleeper, and the idea of having a central zip for ease of in/out and minimal zipper appealed to me. However, although the bag is incredibly warm, the zipper is too short for any real venting, and no foot box zipper or venting. This contributes to it's exceedingly warm ration, but I decided that for the price, I would pass and keep my other Marmot side zippered bag. If you want a very warm, well made bag and don't mind the short central zipper, and no ability to really vent the bag (i.e., a longer central zipper at least), then by all means get this!

Cozy

Cozy and warm. No room if you want to bring in your boot liners. Pretty tight for a big guy (across the shoulders) and similarly tough to get into the bag with the short zipper. Beautiful bag and super compressible.

Premium Bag For Wide Range Of Activities

The Bantamweight bag fits a wide range of temperatures and conditions. Its a very lightweight and compact performance sleeping bag. Ive used this for multi-day alpine routes and camping in a tent. Temperatures ranged from 0 degrees to 40 degrees F. I use this bag a lot for travel to save space and weight. For very low temperatures (while climbing a big mountain for instance), I wear a jacket while sleeping. Attached is a gear testing video of the Bantamweight with an adjustable footbox. Though not included in the production model, that particular feature is included in other marmot bags.
