Rated 2 out of 5 by from Feathers out of the pockets like an open artery! The quality of this jacket is very good but there is a poor choice of fleece for the pocket-lining. The zippers are good, as well as the hood. But there are 3 problems. 1- the wrist enclosures are a joke. the velcro doesn't grip. And the inner wrist elastic material grip your wrist so tight that there is no airflow out from your underarms which causing overheating. 2- The fit is too tight. 3- The biggest problem is the fleece material using to line the pockets lets the down spill out all over the place. There is no reason for fleece lined pockets, I dont care for it. Marmot, use better material and makes the seams leak-proof !!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great functionality, but ... Pros: : used in -40C with 2 technical baselayers, but only a shirt for up to -15C : lining feels very comfortable : style is versatile enough to be worn in the office and rugged enough when outdoors Cons: : collar feels tight, to a point where you can't really close them fully when you have a scarf or a neck gaiter on : and as already mentioned by some, down is consistently leaking from the seams particularly from the back and the arms (photo attached). I know it's normal for down-filled jackets to be having this problem, but not if it's only bought within three months and hardly-used on a regular basis.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very good Overall this jacket is very good. pros: (1) warmth: wearing this jacket with a t-shirt and a thin long sleeve fleece doesn't feel any code at 20F; (2): style: this jacket is only slightly longer than a bomber; I consider this a plus because most winter jacket are very long and ugly; cons: the neck closure is a little tight it only has one pocket inside on the right chest; it would be better if it has another chest pocket/mesh pocket on the left;

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Jacket I bought this jacket in and around Christmas time. I liked the fit and the look of the jacket with the two front snap pockets. It fill well, just below the butt. Man alive...this thing is warm! Only need a t shirt underneath. However, the feathers started to leak in the seams at the back of the jacket and in the pockets. I'm on my third jacket thinking 3rd times the charm....but still leaking feathers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good purchase I bought this jacket for my college-aged son who is very picky when it comes to clothes. The jacket has a nice high loft to keep him warm, but didn't make him look like a marshmallow when he had it on. He wished that the jacket had more internal pockets. He also runs warm and said the jacket is actually too hot for him to wear unless it's really cold (in the 20s or below). He is 5'11", 155lbs, and the medium fit him well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely Happy I was looking for a warm coat to fight the cold winters in NYC. I just got this coat and even though I didn't test it out yet because it didn't get under 50 yet, as soon as I put the coat on I was sweating. And it is very light and very easy on the eyes. I purchased the navy blue coat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm, but tight shoulders, arms and armpits. I am 6'1", 190-195 lbs, strong shoulders, chest and arms. I ordered the large as that's what "should" fit me based upon the manufacturer's specs. It arrived, and immediately felt a bit snug in the aforementioned areas. I ordered an XL to see if that fit better. It felt great in the shoulders and arms, but the body was WAY too big. It looked and felt stupid big in my midsection. This is my first Marmot product, but it seems their tailoring is toward people with large stomachs. I returned the XL and kept the large. If I am not reaching or hugging things, it's fine. If I do, it pulls at my armpits.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Warm, comfortable, nice looking Great overall product. Very warm, it's really an effective shield against cold weather. I've worn this in 0°F (-17.8°C ) weather, and it was a pleasure If I put a sweater or fleece under this jacket, I'm truly immune to the cold. It looks nice, and is not too bulky, even though it's quire warm. My only complaints are: 1. The hood is not very adjustable. The other marmot jackets that I have all include very effective features for cinching the hood so that it fits your head snugly, and turns with your head (so when your head turns your not looking at the inside of the hood). This does not, and it should. 2. The chest pockets are kind of useless. They are not big enough to put any modern smart phone into, and the snap-flap closure is clumsy and impractical. They're more of a styling feature than a useful pocket, which I find annoying. Make good chest pockets, please. More pockets on a jacket are always useful, as long as they are functional.
